We have been staying at this rental for 5 years now and it's great! Perry and Fran are a lovely couple who make sure this house and their renters are well taken care of. The house is always clean, there is a wonderful supply of bath/hand towels, nice kitchen appliances, and the bikes are a huge added bonus!! The house is in an amazing location - close to the Dare County bike path, close to many restaurants, and very close to the beach! We truly enjoy our stay here yearly and appreciate all that Perry and Fran do for their renters.

The home was ideally situated between the ocean and the bay, with a beautiful park right across the street where kids and dogs often played. It was within walking distance to great restaurants, which made everything super convenient. The neighborhood was charming and quiet, with the house tucked away in a lovely setting.The fenced-in backyard was perfect for our furry girl to run and play, and she especially loved relaxing on the porches overlooking the park. We were surprised when the owner stopped by a couple of times to handle repairs — something we hadn’t experienced with previous landlords.As always, the OBX never disappoints.

This was our third stay at Perry and Fran's house. They are wonderful owners - friendly, responsive, and keep the property in excellent condition. The location of the house is close to everything: shopping, beach, park, and restaurants. It has pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great for families. Thanks Perry & Fran!

This house was in a quiet neighborhood. Park right next to this home. Walking distance to sound side with a bike trail and nice little pier. Hosts were very friendly & replied back very quickly. To get to public beach access ocean side you must cross the Croatan Highway which is very busy and must be done my car not on foot. We enjoyed our stay.

Great property. Location is excellent. And the owner did his best to keep us comfortable. A/C went down not once, but twice. Owner was there and on Hand ensuring it got fixed and got us comfortable again. Highly recommend this property. Excellent location, excellent property, excellent owner

Quiet neighborhood across from a nice park. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck, which has a view of the park. Our boys took advantage of the bicycles that are provided by the owner. The property was clean. Good location just a short drive or bike ride or even walk from shops, stores, and beach. There is also a public pier on the sound with a gazebo that is within walking distance.

Quick, clear communications. Easy in and out. House tucked into corner property near park--cozy! Screened-in eating space a delight. Nicely stocked with cooking and eating utensils. Lots of space to spread out in. Dog enjoyed fenced back yard.

A Wonderful Time

We had a very nice time. We have stayed here several times and every time has been enjoyable. Check in / out is very easy. We like the location, right across from a park, and the fenced in yard is nice for our dog. The owners are very nice. We had a chance to sit and talk with Perry for a short time, which was very nice. Looking forward to possibly another stay in the future.

Like home way from home

Nothing but good to say. Perfect amount of room and space, basic needs easily provided for. Super convenient location, beach on one side, sound on the other offering beautiful sunrises and sunsets every day within walking distance. Our host and hostess were kind and super super responsive. The fact that my furfamily was allowed to be with me was probably the biggest seller prior to arriving and experiencing so many other positives. If they will have us, we would love to make this a regular home away from home when visiting the OBX. The only downside is not at all their fault and there is nothing they can do to make it better. Even though it's only a couple blocks away, crossing the busy highway to get to the beach is a huge challenge as there isn't a crosswalk, light or any kind of bridge that would make it easier to accommodate pedestrian traffic (and their furkids).

Cozy Home, Great Location

We had a great stay at this Outer Banks home. It was really cozy and nicely decorated with a great vacation vibe. The location was perfect, and the hosts were super friendly and responsive.The WiFi was fine for getting my work done remotely. However, we did hit some unusual winter weather, which made the house very cold since the heating system wasn’t designed for such low temperatures (which are rare in the area even in February when we visited).Overall, we’d definitely recommend this place—just check the forecast if you’re visiting in winter.

Great location! Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s directly across from Hayman Park, for walking the dog or have the kids can play on the playground. The beach is just a quick drive away. The home itself is clean and well equipped for our stay. We loved it!!!

The best VRBO experience I’ve ever had..

Perfect vacay stay

We loved staying at this property during our recent OBX trip. The fenced in yard is such an added bonus if you are bringing your furry friends with you. The house has all the necessary amenities and is more than comfortable for your stay. Location is great as well- a short drive to the beach and a nice walk to the sound. We enjoyed walking our dogs along the sound every morning- it was beautiful.
