Peace and quiet

No crowds, walkable food and shopping.Friendly servers, residents. Quiet complex, great pool and beach area. Dolphins, fishing, easy access, and GREAT SUNSETS!clean and roomy place. Plenty of dishes, cups and amenities.

Great View

The view was great. Lots of dolphins and the beach was very nice. The pool could have been clean more often and the sheets we pilled terribly. When we first arrived it looked clean but walking on the floor your feet turned black We still enjoyed the property and there were great people there

we liked the location. Clean. However signs posted parking 1st come, 1st serve. Had a note on our car from another renter referring to assigned parking. Had to reach out to get assigned parking number. Stock of towels & washcloths low. Condo slept 6. Only had 4 towels and 3 washcloths. Had to reach out to obtain. Towels were provided but never received washcloths. Had to go purchase.

Perfect ocean view

The ocean view is absolutely perfect. The home is updated and very nice. The only thing we didn’t like was the difficulty of the door lock. We got locked out and tried to call Jodi but she never returned our call. Thankfully we were able to eventually get back in but if not we would have had some big issues. The door lock code is too long and you have to do it extremely fast or it doesn’t work. The keys for the pool were challenging as they didn’t always work. The light switches don’t work for the lights in the bedroom and One was taped off. Overall this location was very nice and we truly enjoyed the place.

Beautiful condo. Great location

First time staying at a condo and i couldnt have asked for better. The condo was comfortable. So close to the beach and the views are amazing. The only thing i would have different would be more towels and wash cloths available and more spoons as there were only 3 and we have a family of five. Other than that i would stay here again in a heartbeat.

View was spectacular. Unit was decorated beautifully. We loved it except for the 2 weeks we had “thumpers” in the unit above us. Much more than normal traffic- early morning and late night. Also asked for a call about the TV remote the first week we were there. No call at all for 3 weeks.

Casa de Playa - Indian Rocks Beach, FL So many cleaning protocols that are CONTINUOUS at Casa de Playa, but nothing ever changes. This is not the first time we have commented on the lack of cleanliness in staying at several different units in this complex over the past 8+ years. At check-in we gave the cleanliness of the unit a 2. Instead of someone calling to discuss...we got the "standard" email, stating how sorry Vacasa was that the cleaning was not satisfactory...and to call. Someone should have called us, not the other way around..... The thought of continuing to accept this as the norm, is just not right. A few examples: 1). All air conditioning/furnace filters are caked with dust and are disgusting. 2). We needed to tighten one of the toilet seats and in doing so lifted the white tab of the seat and discovered filth and feces from prior tenants. So gross!!! 3). The toilet brushes sitting in each bathroom are sitting in a pool of drainage from the last cleaning... unacceptable! 4). Both bathroom doors were stained and could use a great cleaning. 5). Behind the master bedroom headboard, you can see where the floor or mopboards were not cleaned and were caked with dust. We've seen the same in other units as well. Beds are not pulled out and cleaned under!! 6). There was a floor fan in the master bedroom closet that was also caked with dust and so disgusting! We actually set it out by our front door the entire week, as we did not want to hang our clean clothes anywhere near it. 7). The garbage container on our patio was not cleaned or washed out and was full of small black ants. 8). All walls and ceilings in both bedrooms need to be dusted. You can see the dust caked on the walls, vents and ceiling fans. 9). On Wednesday we inquired about the pool being cleaned as it was full of sand. We were told it was cleaned on Tuesday. Many residents around the complex we're stating that the pool was not cleaned on Tuesday. We finally saw someone cleaning it on Friday... the day before we left! 10). The service fee that is charged is for what??? We were told to cover the 24 hour guest services team. Who wants to have the team come back in and re-clean what should have been cleaned in the first place once you're all moved in for the week!?, ESPECIALLY, when you're already paying for a cleaning fee!! We'll see what happens! Awaiting a call back to discuss further!

Love location

We’ve stayed many years at Casa de Playa and enjoyed the availability of pool as well as gulf. We also enjoy the many restaurants in the area.

Amazing view!

The big windows opening to the ocean/beach and the big balcony were really amazing. We loved the apartment and the location.

No communication

Frustrating but not all your fault. We were left with no direction until we arrived and we’re encouraged to leave. In spite of us trying several times to get direction from Vacasa a day before we left Denver. It cost us a lot to take a 1 day trip to Florida. Waiting on Vacasa to help us with this trip. Nice clean condo with beautiful views.

Summer vacation

The property was very nice. We loved being right on the beach! The big things in the condo were great. But the little things could have been better- like dirty dishes in the cupboard and dirty windows. My biggest complaint is that there was NO soundproofing in the building at all!! We heard EVERYTHING from other units!! Woke us up most nights.

Relaxing vacation

The condo was clean, comfortable and great location. Kitchen was stocked and beds are comfortable. The only change would like to see for our next visit us a ceiling fan on the porch. The only negative is the parking, if you drive a medium size or large vehicle it’s difficult to park because of the cement beams.

Peaceful beach vacation

This was a very nice condo with all of the amenities. It was very clean and the check-in/check-out was simple. The property manager messaged to make sure we got in ok which was nice. Great location/view just steps from the beach. We will definitely be back!
