Beautiful Suite Cordero w/balcony and fast internet, perfect for digital nomads

A cocoon in the top of the Andes , that is like looks the Suite Cordero located in the 11th floor of very safe condo in the Quito's most picturesque and central area . It has a wonderful view on the "Panecillo" and a nice terrace, with 24H guard security by a little parc and with an underground private parking. It is fully equipped . With a good internet connection it is ideal for Digital Nomads.. A maid service is available on request for 25usd once a week. This suite is completly rebuilt; The flat is very cosy and sunny in the afternoon and equipped with solid wood furniture and French decoration, just feel at home! Hope you will enjoy it as much as I do when I come and spend some time in Ecuador. Hot water is provided 24h . In the bathroom, you will relax under the shower jets.

You will find everything you need, internet, smart TV ,DVD, Hifi Stereo and some French and Spanish books, as well as, some DVD's and candles in the living and bedroom to make you feel in a cozy cocoon. A coffee expresso machine is provided to enjoy a delicious coffee in the terrace admiring the beautiful view of Quito ! You will be able to use my private fitness and barbecue terrace .

Awesome place

The place was nice, clean and cozy. Everything was provided as per description, and the owner was above and beyond to help us out getting around the city. I definitely recommend this establishment and it's owner, Cathy, for bussiness!!!

Séjour impeccable!

Un séjour excellent! L'appartement était impeccable a notre arrivé, et complètement équipé (nous avions même des capsules de café). L'appartement est très bien situé et cosy. L’hôte, Cathy a été très charmante avec nous et nous a aidé à tout moment. Si je devais revenir sur Quito, je resterai surement à nouveau dans ce beau studio!

Excellent séjour!

Excellent séjour dans ce studio. Très accueillant, parfaitement équipé et nous avons même reçu le petit déjeuner. Le studio est très bien place, et nous étions près du centre ville, des centres commerciaux et nous avions autours des cafés, des restaurants, des boutiques d'artisanats. Cathy, notre hôte, nous a très bien reçue. Elle était toujours prête a nous aider, a nous donner des conseils sur Quito et les alentours. Vraiment merci! Nous reviendrons!

Lovely place - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The location is excellent . It is clean and well appointed. Nearby to government ministries and business locations. Supermarket close by is convenient if you need anything. I would definitely stay there again.

Séjour merveilleux!

Un de nos meilleurs séjours en Amérique du Sud ! Cathy notre hôte a été d’une gentillesse et d’une disponibilité à toute épreuve. Après avoir pris le transfert que Cathy nous avait envoyé, nous nous sommes installés dans l’appartement qui était tel que nous l’avions vu en photos. Très cosy, chaleureux et extrêmement bien placé . Nous avons apprécié tous les petits détails , coupé de fruits frais et exotiques, bouteilles d’eau, capsules Nespresso pour nos cafés du matin et surtout la proximité de tout ce qu’un touriste peut rêver. Nous avons même eu des DVD , livres etc... à disposition. Merci encore à notre hôte et toutes ses recommendations pour visiter la ville et ses aventures. Je vous recommende les tours privés proposés par Cathy qui a un hôtel à 100 m et dispose d’une équipe adorable pour tous nos besoins. Nous reviendrons c’est sur !

Comfortable and great location

I enjoyed my stay in this area. It was so quiet at night, but there are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The Supermaxi is also walking distance which is great for longer stays.

Everything was perfect, in fact more than perfect! It is easy to see that it is a woman who owns this place! All the small thoughtful details and decor is something that only woman proprietors can do. Lovely! Totally well equipped and since I cook a lot and was there for 2 weeks, it was a pleasure to have every possible thing I needed to cook for myself. Lovely balcony with great view and super comfortable bed. Couldn´t have picked a better place. Walking distance to all conveniences in a pleasant historical surrounding area. Yes, a little bit noisy but no matter where in the world you may stay, if you want to be in the center of a city and near points of interest it will definitely be a little noisy. Cathy was great in communicating and helping to organize things for me at the same time as respecting ones privacy. I would definitely without a doubt stay there again and very highly recommend it to anybody wanting to stay in Quito in umpteen comfort and close to all the action.

Great location and comfortable

I found the location very convenient, not too far from the old town and a good place to enjoy the night life, being next to the Mariscal Foch square. The owner very attentive and helpful in providing information and finding alternative services. The place was confortable and quiet, reasonably well equipped.

Great Location and View

Teresa and I had a great time. Cathie was very helpful and responded quickly to all of our questions. She set up the pickup and drop off to the airport with Edison which was a great relief because we arrived at midnight and had a 5am departure flight. The apartment has 24 hour security and we enjoyed the spectacular view of Quito's historic district from the 11th floor. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and even has a washing machine which was very convenient. Getting around in a cab is very inexpensive and there are many throughout the city. As a previous poster mentioned, we were awaken every morning by a business alarm. The apartment is also located next to Plaza Foch which has a lot of bars and restaurants and at some times can get a little loud. Pack some ear plugs in case it gets loud and you will be fine. We would definitely stay there again if we traveled back to Quito.

Review is based on Host, facilities/amenities, and location = Value. Cordero Suite has it all! Cathy is responsive and always willing to share her vast knowledge of Ecuador/Quito. The apartment has absolutely stunning views of Quito and and fully equipped the moment you arrive. Plaza Foch is .2 miles away, with Hop On Hop Off and tour pickup less than that. Super Maxi and convenient stores right out the door! Great restaurants and clubs a short walk away. Don't let this one pass you by!!! Thanks Cathy for a great vacation!!!

Just like home!

I stayed at the Suite Cordero for eight days. Edison picked me up from the airport with no problems. I felt right at home from the minute I arrived. The apartment was wonderfully appointed and well equipped. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony overlooking the park. I watched dog-walkers, couples and a variety of people in the park daily. There are nice benches at the park to sit and people watch too. In the morning I made coffee and drank it on the patio. The living room is cozy with a great view of Quito. The dining room table was lovely with sturdy chairs to plan my days. The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed to prepare meals each day. If I didn’t feel like cooking, I walked a couple of minutes to the variety of restaurants in the immediate area. I highly recommend Taqueria at the point of the plaza. Casa Nova has great pizza. I’d also recommend La Petit Mariscal just a block away. If I craved something else, it was usually a $2 or less cab fare to get there. There’s some great night life a few blocks away. Each night I was welcomed home to a lovely shower including soap and shampoo. The bathroom also has a washer which was so helpful since I packed light. The bed was very comfortable and the closet had all the comforts of home with drawers and clothes racks. I really enjoyed the personable doorman. I felt very secure sleeping there as there was an electronic key for the elevator so not just anyone could get on if they snuck past the doorman. Then there was a gated foyer to the two apartments. Then a lock on my personal door. I was traveling alone so this was extremely comforting to me. My only negative is that you can hear someone’s alarm going off periodically in the night a couple of times. I believe it’s from one of the businesses on the ground floor. If you’re a light sleeper, just pack some ear plugs. All in all, I had a fabulous time in Quito and when I come back, I’ll definitely stay at Cathy’s place! She’s a terrific host and a very nice person as well.

Nicely located in a secure vibrant neighbourhood.

We stayed 5 nights in this lovely apartment. Cathie had a driver pick us up at the airport who helped us settle in and explained where the restaurants and the Supermaxi were. It’s a perfect location in a quiet building. It has a great view of the old town which is only a$2.50 cab ride away. The flat is well equipped and even has a washing machine. If you are into night life it’s only a few blocks away at Plaza Foch.

Being in Quito like at home

Amazing apartment and location in Quito!

My wife and I had a great time at this apartment in Quito. It is centrally located in Quito and we were able to walk to many destinations like the historic center and Carolina Park. The apartment itself is great for cooking and for lounging around when you need a break from exploring this beautiful city!

Great location, beautiful view and excellent security.

Staying in the suite made me feel like I was home, comfortable and relaxed. Although we were only there on the weekends, French Suite Cordeo exceeded all my expectations. I also enjoyed the places in the surrouding area, such as the cafes, restaurants, entertainment, etc. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and recommend anyone to stay here!

great location, great view

We were extremely pleased with this apartment: beautiful modernized apt with great location and view, building security guard, helpful assistant Veronica. Our arrival flight was delayed two hours until 9 pm but the gentleman sent by Catherine to pick us up waited and got us safely into the apt. What a relief at the airport to see him holding a card with our name!

Well worth the stay

Je suis française, installée depuis des années à Quito. Après plusieurs activités dans l’humanitaire,entre autres comme ACF et Médecins du Monde, j’ai monté un très joli Apart Hôtel qui fonctionne a deux pas de la suite dans deux maisons déclarées Patrimoine Culturel de Quito. De là mon envie de proposer des suites indépendantes de l’hotel , complètement équipées qui vous permettront de passer un excellent séjour dans la ville. Je voyage beaucoup depuis 10 ans entre Tahiti et la France , mais revient toujours dans ce merveilleux pays Andin.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Cet appartement vous plaira par la vue spectaculaire depuis ses 11 étages sur la ville et le Panecillo. Il est excrément bien situé, en plein coeur du Quito touristique, au pied d’un petit parc et à deux pas de la vie nocturne , des restaurants, cafés, musées,marches etc..... pas besoin de voitures, tous les transports sont à vos pieds.
