POUR DÉCIDER DE LA VILLA À LOUER, IL EST TRÈS IMPORTANT DE S'ASSURER QUE LA VILLA DISPOSE D'UN GÉNÉRATEUR DIESEL DE SECOURS ET D'UN COMMUTATEUR DE TRANSFERT AUTOMATIQUE. CETTE VILLA FAIT.
L'INSTALLATION D'UN GÉNÉRATEUR DIESEL DE 20 KW EST UNE DÉPENSE IMPORTANTE ET LE MAINTENIR EN BON ÉTAT DE FONCTIONNEMENT. LE PROBLÈME AVEC CELA EST QUE LES BATTERIES SE DÉCHARGENT APRÈS UNE HEURE OU PLUS ET VOUS ÊTES GAUCHE SANS LUMIÈRE OU CLIMATISATION.
IL EST TRÈS COURANT D'AVOIR DES PANNE DE COURANT EN RÉPUBLIQUE DOMINICAINE. IL EST MIEUX D'ÊTRE SÛR ET DE RESTER DANS UNE VILLA AVEC UN GÉNÉRATEUR DIESEL.

Une statue grandeur nature de David et une autre belle sculpture de nu féminin classique vous accueillent pendant que vous vous prélassez au bord de la piscine et profitez des vues sur l'océan depuis le patio en bord de mer de Villa Leone sous les palmiers. Ces sculptures ont été réalisées à partir de moules conçus par un sculpteur italien qui réside maintenant à Saint-Domingue. Les sculptures ont été coulées dans du béton solide puis finies à la main et peintes pour leur donner vie alors qu'elles veillent maintenant sur la magnifique plage de Villa Leone. Si vous avez besoin de vous rafraîchir sous le beau temps chaud et ensoleillé, notre toute nouvelle piscine à débordement de 5 pieds de profondeur est la solution parfaite. La piscine jouxte le bohio et dispose de 4 tabourets de bar en béton dans l'eau le long du bar bohio attenant, permettant à vos amis dans la piscine de vous rejoindre pour boire un verre alors que vous êtes assis sur un tabouret sec sous le bohio, à l'ombre.
Climatisation.........
Un tout nouveau système de climatisation a été récemment installé permettant un contrôle indépendant de la température dans chaque chambre. Ce n'est généralement pas nécessaire pendant les mois d'hiver, mais c'est une retraite bienvenue de la chaleur pendant les mois d'été.
Divertissement à la maison ........
Si toutes les options ci-dessus vous laissent toujours à la recherche d'autres moyens de passer votre temps à vous détendre à la plage, il y a un centre de divertissement dans le salon offrant la télévision par câble, un lecteur DVD, un magnétoscope, un lecteur CD et un ordinateur avec Internet DSL.

Villa Leone dispose de 5 chambres; 4 avec salles de bain attenantes. Les 5 chambres sont climatisées et contrôlées indépendamment. Le salon a un grand canapé sectionnel qui pourra accueillir les 13e et 14e invités, si nécessaire. Il existe également deux matelas gonflables pouvant être utilisés à cette fin.

La plage de Villa Leone est aussi proche d'une plage privée que la loi le permet. Notre bungalow de plage en plein air privé sur le toit en terre cuite offre à ses clients un endroit serein pour profiter de la plage dans le confort d'un lit de plage inclinable queen size à quelques pieds du bord de l'eau.

POUR LES GROUPES PLUS GRANDS JUSQU'À 22, NOUS OFFRONS LA VILLA FLAMINGO À DROITE LA PROCHAINE PORTE À LOUER AVEC LA VILLA LEONE; Villa Belvedere; une villa similaire de 4 chambres est située à côté de la Villa Leone et directement derrière la Villa Flamingo.
Ces deux villas sont disponibles à la location séparément ou avec la Villa Leone.

RECOMMANDATIONS POUR LES ACTIVITÉS ET LES VISITES:

JOUR 1; PLAGE ET MONTAGNES À CHEVAL

Si vous louez pour une semaine, une balade à cheval sur la plage est une bonne façon de commencer vos vacances, suivie d'un après-midi dans la piscine.

JOUR 2; JOURNEE DE LA PLAGE

Une autre façon fantastique de passer la journée est de louer un taxi pour faire un tour de plage. Cela vous amène à plusieurs endroits très intéressants et amusants, y compris une petite plantation, une cascade cachée où vous pouvez regarder les habitants plonger depuis de très hauts perchoirs, le Blue Lagoon, où vous pouvez faire une tyrolienne d'une falaise et plonger dans un cénote de 70 pieds de profondeur. . Au même arrêt, vous pouvez explorer une ancienne grotte.

Après la tyrolienne et la baignade, c'est l'heure du déjeuner sur la plage de Playa Grande. Cette plage a été élue comme l'une des plus belles plages du monde! Les fruits de mer frais et le poulet au menu et les boissons, y compris les locos de coco et les pina coladas, vous permettront de continuer à explorer une ou deux plages. Je recommande Playa Diamonte où vous pouvez trouver des sources de soufre d'eau douce qui bouillonnent dans le sable sur la plage et peuvent marcher 300 mètres et être toujours dans une eau claire et calme. Une autre belle plage est Playa Calleton.

JOUR 3; DOUBLURE ZIPPÉE JUNGLE SINGE

Monkey Jungle est un court trajet de 30 minutes de la villa.
Un Taxi peut vous y emmener dans sa camionnette (jusqu'à 6).
Ils ont un circuit de tyrolienne assez intense. Ils ont également un habitat de singe vraiment cool où vous pouvez nourrir les petits singes assis sur vos épaules et vos têtes et manger de votre main! Si vous ne voulez pas faire de tyrolienne, vous pouvez simplement faire la jungle des singes et vous asseoir au bar pour attendre le retour des tyroliennes.

JOUR 4; CABARETE BEACH MASSAGE ET SHOPPING

Une journée à la plage de Cabarete est un moyen très relaxant de passer une journée dans cette merveilleuse ville balnéaire. Beaucoup d'établissements ne vous factureront pas l'utilisation de leurs chaises de plage si vous leur achetez une boisson ou une collation. Sur la plage, il y a des vendeurs de chemises bleues qui sont autorisés à donner des massages et des pédicures sur la plage.
Il est indispensable d'avoir un massage sur la plage suivi d'un mani-pedi tout en buvant une bière froide ou une pina colada. Très relaxant en effet! Il y a aussi de nombreux magasins à explorer en ville si vous avez besoin d'une pause de la plage.

JOUR 5; CHEF PRIVÉ À LA VILLA ET MASSAGE

Si vous êtes fatigué de vous amuser loin de la villa, engagez notre chef privé pour vous faire plaisir avec leurs repas fantastiques tout au long de la journée et de la nuit. Ils vous rencontreront la veille pour préparer le menu du lendemain et remplir le frigo avec les provisions nécessaires pour préparer le petit déjeuner le lendemain matin. Après le petit déjeuner, ils prépareront le menu que vous désirez pour le déjeuner et le dîner puis feront du shopping. C'est sans aucun doute l'expérience préférée de la plupart des clients pendant leur séjour! Si vous voulez le summum de la détente, associez l'expérience du chef à une journée complète de massages, de manucures et de pédicures au bord de la piscine ou sur la plage et vous allez vous régaler.

JOUR 6; TÉLÉPHÉRIQUE SOSUA BEACH ET PUERTO PLATA

Une promenade matinale à Puerto Plata pour prendre le téléphérique jusqu'au sommet d'Isabella del Torres est une expérience mémorable. Les vues depuis le sommet de la montagne sont à couper le souffle! Il y a aussi des sentiers et des jardins que vous explorez au sommet, ainsi qu'un petit restaurant.
Après le téléphérique, demandez à votre chauffeur de taxi de vous emmener au vieux fort où vous pourrez apprendre un peu d'histoire sur la région. Ensuite, direction le musée de l'ambre.
Après le musée de l'ambre, une petite plongée avec tuba et un déjeuner à Sosua Beach seront un excellent moyen de conclure votre semaine. Le shopping à Sosua Beach est beaucoup plus abordable qu'à Cabarete.

Ocean World, 27 Waterfalls, une visite à Saint-Domingue, un tour en quad des montagnes et de la plage, du VTT, du kite surf, du surf, de la voile, de la pêche hauturière, plongée en catamaran, sortie nocturne à Sosua et Cabarete, musée UFO, visite de l'usine de Brugal Rum, promenade en bateau à Rio San Juan .......... Les options sont infinies. Vous pouvez même gravir le plus haut sommet des Caraïbes; Pico Duarte!

We had a great visit in DR. The house was lovely. The staff was amazing. The views are stunning. We were in our own little world. Highly recommend.

Amazing week!

We came to Cabarete for my daughter's wedding. She was staying in a villa just north of us. I chose the Villa Leone for the location and number of rooms and amenities. it did not disappoint! My husband and i stayed in the crows nest suite and had coffee every morning on the patio overlooking the ocean. The staff ere very helpful and efficient. We were very grateful to Maria for all her help and local knowledge. We even had fresh coconuts straight from the tree on the property!

Wonderful trip!

We enjoyed our stay at Villa Leone. Jeremy was extremely helpful with anything that we needed. We had Chef Catalino make us breakfast, lunch, and dinner one day. Amazing meals! Frank was very prompt in answering any questions that I had.

Great time

We had such a great time on our stay. On our arrival jeremy, the groundsman, was theere already to welcome us and he was there every day to clean around the villa and help us when something wasnt working. After the house and terrasse and swimming pool where incredible.. we could do everything we want and the sea was just on our doorstep. The cleaning ladies did a perfect job also. And we took the chef to cook for us for 5 days and we couldnt choose for better. Not only does he cook better then any restaurant in the area also does he have an hart of gold.. so nice an patient with whatever we want or if we have suddenly some people over Recommend him to every one.. you wont regret! It was a great stay and we will come back there it we visit Cabarete again. Only advise is to review some parts ot the villa as they start getting older and before they break or so its better to check it out already. But thats only advise and not even critics cause we couldnt have an better stay!! Thanks!!

Wedding!

Everything was great! We were excited to have a movie night but unfortunately the DVD player didn't work with the DVDs that were there (wrong sections for displaying). That was a very small issue that didn't make or break our stay. The staff was great and very very helpful when one of the safes would not open. Bonfire on the beach was amazing and if I could I would have never left! Thank you Frank and staff! P.s. love the guest book!

Beautiful Villa, Amazing Experience

I planned this trip for my 30th birthday with friends and family, and i can honestly say the trip went beyond my expectations from the moment we arrived. The house is exactly as listed in a private community, right on the beach, and filled with beautiful statues inside and out. Frank linked us to transportation services with Edward, who was helpful and accommodating. Our Chef, Catalino was so amazing and all his food was deliciously cooked to perfection. On our last night at the villa, Catalino roasted a pig and brought it to the house for us. Frank was also great with communication throughout the entire time of our stay, ensuring everything was going well. i really appreciate Frank and all the staff that made my birthday celebration extra special. I will definitely be back !

Villa Leone 1/2020

This trip was planned to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday and it was actually our 7th time to the Dominican Republic. I have actually been keeping any eye on renting this villa for about 7 years. Was just waiting for the right opportunity, hence my wife's 50th birthday!! So there was 20 of us spread out between Villa Leone, Villa Flamingo and Villa Belvedere. Frank was so great to work with from the planning to booking and the ten months leading up to the trip. Frank was a wealth of information for all that you will need while there. He gave me a recommendation for transportation with Eduardo from Edwards Taxi in Cabarete, which we used for all of our transportation and excursions. He picked us up at the airport and stopped at Janets market on the way to the Villa. Check in was easy and no issues. I had requested a chef for our first full day and Jenny, the chef, was there our first night to help plan for all three meals for the following day. She and her staff were there on time and so friendly on Sunday morning( she actually did 3 meals that day for all 3 villas for 20 of us, with a smile and plenty of laughs!!) 7 of us played golf at Playa Dorado on Monday morning, highly recommend if you like to play golf beautiful course and great friendly staff. Eduardo brought his 14 passenger bus to take us there and his driver waited for us the whole time we were playing golf. Eduardo suggested Playa Sosua for the next day for a quiet beach day. It was awesome for 16 of us. He has plenty of associates in the area to take care of you and your group no matter what you want to do. On Wednesday night I had planned a party for all of us at Villa Leone and Jenny cooked a wonderful Paella dinner with appetizers and desserts. It was absolutely fabulous!!! The dinner/luau was followed by a bonfire on the beach which the maintenance/security staff took care of for us. The staff for Villas Paraiso are top notch with security, maintenance and housekeeping! Every morning maintenance was at the villas sweeping and wiping down all the tables and chairs. An added touch was the local dogs that were on property, all 3 of them are so friendly and kind of act like guard dogs to walkers going by property(not aggressive at all just liked to bark to let others know they were there). We did the falls for another day trip (Los 27 Charcos De Damajagua) Which was breath taking. If you like to do Catamaran trip have Eduardo hook you up from Sosua beach. All in all it was great!!!

Family Christmas

We usually go somewhere special with our entire family including Grandmas every year to celebrate Christmas. We look for a place that can feel like a home for 8 people ranging from 8 - 76 yrs of age. This is a beautiful place to go and the people are so friendly. The house we stayed in was very nice and RIGHT on the beach. Positive aspects are the beach, location, friendly staff, comfortable beds, great private chief Yinny and privacy. The negative aspects was cold showers, electricity issues, pool a little too cold, hot tub a little too cold and I wished the house was more open. The rooms were a little boxed up

Wow

Beautiful, peaceful, and private. We had family and friends overlapping in three Villas. Boogie boarded the waves on the beach for hours. 10 minutes away from over a dozen restaurants. Some of us road horses on the beach. Some did the cable car. Others hiked the waterfalls. Some drove to Santiago and bought Opals. We loved it and will be back.

This is a very rare review for me but this place deserves it. Absolutely spot on from the description. The home is exactly as advertised. Actually even nicer. Frank is a true professional. Answered any email within minutes. Staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend if you are hitting the Dominican republic. We will return.

Beautiful villa, Beautiful stay!

What a wonderful and beautiful vacation. Everything was perfect! Helpful and attentive staff. Jeremy, Mercedes and Alfredo did a fabulous job of tending to our needs. Yeny was an awesome chef and helpful with guiding us along our stay. She is a gem! Would definitely do it all again! Definitely would stay at the villa. Cinnamon, the little beach puppy won our children’s hearts. This will be a memorable vacation for all of us. Thank you Frank. We will be back if you’ll have us. 😎

Lots to do!

Frank the owner answered all questions and was so easy to get a hold of. The staff at the property were attentive and very helpful. The house had great space and location was great. We did a number of recommended excursions and all were fun. We did horseback riding on the beach, ATV, and took a boat ride. We did a bonfire on the property and had one of the guys get us some coconuts from the backyard. We’d probably go back if it wasn’t for one thing. The only downside was that there were some insects in the house roaches, water bugs and huge spiders. To be fair, the owner and staff were willing to use a spray to help with the problem. However the can had a warning label that it shouldn’t be used around children. I had my 2 kids with me and wasn't willing to chance it. I’d probably go back if it wasn’t for that.

Beautiful right on the beach

We loved our stay at this property. Right from the beginning Frank was super responsive to any questions and requests and overall great to work with. The house itself is lovely and has plenty of space for large parties. You will find any house on the beach in the elements needs maintained and anything we needed was promptly taken care of. We felt safe knowing we had 24 hour security at the villa. Very short walk down the beach to the water which was rough but we could still get in. The pool was chilly but after a few drinks you will find that no longer matters! Our favorite part of the house was the outdoor area to enjoy eating and drinking and just hanging out at night. Sarah was our housekeeper and we also hired her for chef services for two days which was phenomenal! Very close to Cabarete downtown and also close to Sosua. A beach day for both places is a must. We had a wonderful stay and encourage anyone looking to choose Villa Leone for their vacation to the DR! Be sure to look out for the beach dogs that visit and be kind to them :) Our visitor for the week, Domino, was easily my favorite part of our trip!!!

perfect family getawy

This villa is awesome. There was 10 people in my group and we had plenty of room. The house is clean and the maid kept it that way throughout our stay. The beach has big waves which we enjoyed. The staff at the villa was very friendly and helpful. Frank ,the owner is very easy to reach if you have any questions about your stay.

Couldn’t have asked for more

Had a great week over the new year. The house is great. We had four adult couples and each couple had a fantastic room. Location couldn’t be better - right on the beach. Lots of privacy and still just a 30 minute walk down the beach to town or a quick and easy cab ride. Staff was all terrific. Sara kept the place clean and organized. Security team was great - helped with cabs, made us a bonfire on the beach, and made us all feel safe. Special shout-out to Joel and his brother Gabriel with Sousa-Cabarete taxi. Joel was like a personal driver - even helped track down my wife’s purse when it got left in another cab. He also arranged a great trip to Playa Grande beach including lobster lunch on the beach. Frank is so easy to work with, replying very quickly to emails before and during the visit. We loved the villa and loved Cabarete - hope to return someday.

Paradise by the sea.

Our stay at Villa leone was truly a 5 star experience. My family of 10 including an infant had all the space required. Comfortable beds , dining table to accommodate all and even a sectional couch large enough for all of us to watch our favourite soccer team win the cup. We enjoyed many meals outside on the large picnic table. We made use of the private chef for 2 days and would recommend the experience highly. Our favourite meal out was at Bliss. A truly wonderful evening. Horse back riding on the beach was fun. The 27 waterfalls excursion was exciting. All the staff was exceptional. Not enough words to convey how accommodating they all were. We even tried fresh coconut picked from one of our own palm trees by Miguel our pool attendant. Thank you Frank and staff for a memorable vacation.

Luxurious mansion like villa on the beach!

Caberete is a wonderful off the beaten path town that's safe and has everything a tourist would need just a short taxi ride away. It has a couple of markets, a pizza place that delivers to the villa, an ice cream shop, a little strip of stores on the street side with vendors and BBQ and a liquor store, a bank, souvenir shops, just to name a few. In the evening the street side closes but the beach side stays open with numerous restaurants and bars all with beach seating, some even have tv's and there's a volley ball net there too! We even watched the Maywether/ Mcgregor fight at a sports bar on the beach it was fantastic! The villa is beautiful and luxurious with lots of white statues large and small inside and out, large paintings and lots of local artwork, sculptures and a beautiful locally made wooden chandelier. There's so much space inside and out! The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms with the balconies are beautiful. The infinity pool is amazing with a waterfall and swim up bar stools. The villa sits directly on the beach so you can hear the waves from the relaxing hanging bed or from high atop in the birds nest or from one of the three balconies. The staff...let me just say that the staff was absolutely amazing! They are very professional and will do whatever they can to make sure your needs are met! With pleasure! Mercedes the house keeper is trustworthy and so very nice and professional you will love the staff and they are happy to make sure your having a great time. They will not hesitate to resolve any issue. The bon fire on the beach was fun! There is a building next door that's an eyesore as it looks abandoned and may have been under construction at one time but it sits back just a little behind the villa and off to the side so just don't look at it and you won't even know it's there. The short walk to the ocean was not a flat walk during our stay there was a small sand mound to climb which was not a problem for us but it could be a challenge for an elderly person. We occasionally saw random stray beach dogs which happens at beaches all over the world but they were easily shooed away. The walk to the ocean is close enough to the villa to carry a chair but you can't sit from the pool and watch your children play especially if that sand mound is there because you won't even be able to see them but at least you don't have to travel anywhere to enjoy it. We loved Villa Leone it met our needs and expectations! Go to the monkey jungle

Fantastic and Pleasant Stay!

We just came back from an absolute amazing family vacation at Villa Leone. The property is beautiful. The pictures are a true reflection of the property. The housekeeper, maintenance, security and the manager were very friendly and assisted in every way possible to ensure that we had everything we needed. On the day we arrived we realize that we did not want our twin toddler boys going up and down the stairs. We feared that they could fall or break something. Miguel built a wooden gate right on the spot. It was easy to see that they take real pride in making sure that guests have a fantastic and relaxing time on their get away. Our bedroom was on the 3rd floor and the room view was spectacular. All the rooms were very clean and the beds were super comfy. The views all around the house were awesome and the infinity pool and beach were a dream. This villa was perfect for our family vacation. We will absolutely return! Simply paradise with amazing views Feb 17th 2017

We are use to big 5 star resorts and this was our first venture to a private villa. My family of 5 can only say great things about our stay. A mostly private beach gave dream views from the bed rooms, the amazing "tree house" even in the showers. Not only did my kids not complain once, but all week all I heard was how much they loved this place and wished they never had to leave. Frank the host is a 5 star host as well. He communicated thru the rental process and even during my stay checked in with me to make sure I was happy and if there was anything else I needed. Sarah greeted us every morning with a big smile and made sure all was clean and also made sure we were happy with everything... Side note: she makes the best Coco loco's we have ever had as well!!! Riding horses along the ocean, swims in the pool, lounging in the sun, swimming in the ocean, walking along the beach to Martini's for dinner, Complete peace in an amazing setting we couldn't have asked for more. Even the grounds keeper climbed a tree to get us fresh coconut milk for the loco's. The only problem I had was getting my kids to leave to come home. Thank you Frank for a very very Amazing vacation. We will be back again!!

Slice of Paradise!

We loved this home for many reasons ... but without doubt the location deserves top billing! Walking out the door and being on an almost private beach where you can have a relaxing walk in either direction was such a highlight. Having breakfast on the patio while listening to the surf or sitting in the third-floor crow's nest with a birds-eye view of paradise just never got old! The house was clean, met our needs and served as 'home base' for daily activities that we really enjoyed. The staff was outstanding! Our group of nine ranging in age from 3 1/2 years to early 50s loved the options -- horseback riding on the beach with the operators picking us up in our own back yard, driving five minutes into Cabarete and setting up on the beach there with chair-side beverage and food service, the 27 waterfalls were gorgeous (we did all 27), Monkey Jungle and zip-lining, the cable car in Puerto Plata, we even visited Santo Domingo for a day to enjoy that history. But frankly it came back to the house and beach as the center of our universe. We were striving for total relaxation and booked the Cook for every available slot during our stay. So for a nominal fee we had someone preparing, serving and then cleaning up our meals in the home -- based on a menu we selected. The additional food cost was minimal and the foods were delicious! Given the low cost for these services I recommend you consider them twice before using for only a day or two. Between daily maid service and the cooking services our biggest daily decisions were where we would go and what we would do. Close to an all-inclusive experience for a fraction of the cost (given we had nine people in our group). House amenities we enjoyed: first, the proximity to the beach and the ease of taking a few steps and taking a walk with my bride and/or my 3 year old granddaughter. We enjoyed the pool and used it several times -- even in January! The private patio with lounge chairs for absorbing the sun, the hanging mattress swing, the picnic table for outside meals -- all added to the ambiance and the invitation to comfortably enjoy the hallmark of this property -- beachfront access. The living room was large enough for our entire group to come together to open Christmas presents, watch a movie and even catch some games (cable offers all the channels we wanted including ESPN). We loved the large dining room table that comfortably seated our group of nine with plenty of room to spare. I would return!!!
