Great neighborhood!

It was perfect for our group of 16. Walking distance to restaurants and even the stadium. We had a few issues in the house such as upstairs air conditioning not kicking on and no screens in windows to open windows and cracked coffee carafe on coffee maker making it unusable and called immediately , talked to a live person who said she would check with management and get back to me but never received a return call or resolution to the issues which was disappointing. Upon making reservation, I submitted a question about location and finally had to get VRBO involved to get an answer. Overall, it is a fantastic location and we had a blast.

Christmas in Cleveland

We were a family group of 16, the house had enough bedrooms for everyone to be comfortable. Large space for family to gather for games. Dining area too small to have everyone at the same table. Unfortunately both of the dishwashers were not working and while doing dishes by hand was fine, only two dish towels made it hard to dry. Would recommend several more dish towels, hooks or towel bars in bathrooms and can openers that work. Really a nice house and neighborhood, just a few more basic things neede.

Just outside Downtown Cleveland Pros/Cons

This was a central location for everyone to meet, however VERY DISAPPOINTED in neighborhood. Had several cars "speeding" through neighborhood. Going upwards of 60 miles an hour on a 25 speed limit street. Happening while we have 5 children under the age of four playing in the front yard, middle of day. We had "rubber pellets shot at us from moving car" while standing in line (outside) a local ice cream stand, just two blocks from our Vrbo location. One hit my daughter in the leg while just missing my grand-daughter's eye! There was a good dozen or so people in that line at the time (again in board daylight). One family just left the line completely, scared of the situation that happened. The house was old but serviceable. We tried to use the washer to clean several of the kid's towels (nothing else was in the load). Two Moms and two grand-moms could not get the washer to work. No big deal until the next morning AT 3AM the washer started buzzing every two minutes. We tried everything we could think of to make it stop. Finally after 15 minutes my son-in-law climbed over the top of the "stacked washer/drier" and unplugged it. No more noise except for several of the young children it woke up (as well as their parents). We were close to the RR Hall of Fame, which we enjoyed visiting. We also enjoyed a great children's activity museum close by, lot of FUN. Location to activities was great. Didn't feel safe in neighborhood during the day. Never outside after dark.

Some good some bad.

Although the property by is old, it needs maintenance and upkeep to be a great vacation rental. The layout was great and we had both levels. Couch in living room was soiled. One of the chairs is broken and not safe to sit in. House overall is clean. Mold on ceiling of 1st floor due to a leak needs to be taken care of. Washing machine was not plugged in so we had to go to a laundromat to wash Some blinds are broken or don’t cover the window. Well stocked with kitchen equipment. Couldn’t connect to Internet with codes provided. We parked in the driveway for 10 minutes to unload the car and the neighbor put a gate out that hindered our ability to park in front of the house. Air conditioner worked good. Hot water was good. Awesome location.

Served it’s purpose…

In general the location appeared clean (bedding, towels, surfaces), the water was hot, the refrigerators kept the food cold despite missing shelves, the stove and oven were usable and furnace worked. Unseen in the online pictures are gaping holes around all the exterior doors, a 2x4 holding the back emergency door shut, door trim hanging by a nail, missing smoke detectors, crusty drip trays under the stove burners, detached dishwasher handle, unusable laundry machines, broken window blinds and towel/coat/plumbing fixtures that fell off with just a touch. There was plenty of parking in the street. The location was close to downtown, shopping and other activities. There was plenty of room for our family to circulate despite multiple pieces of broken furniture. The property owners were quick to respond when a vital key fell off the key pad entry.

Bachelorette Party Fun !

We rented this house for a place to stay after bar hopping - we loved the house so much we went to one bar and came back to the house !! HIGHLY recommend !

Not many items for a 4 bedroom unit, but it was a convenient location

No smoke detector in 2 bedrooms. No railing in front porch. Black mold in a bedroom's ceiling. No electricity in a bedroom. Only 4 chairs (1 that had a .5 inch crack the entire length of seat) and not silverware for 8 for a 4 bedroom unit. No deadbolt lock. One seat in living room was broken. Had a Simplisafe but no directions. No extra toilet paper for M-F rental. Host lied in March 9 Vrbo message stating room for 3 vehicles. There is a rental house in back yard and was not a 2 carwidth driveway. Host did not respond to messages sent 3 & 2 weeks before arrival. A colleague of host responded to text messages twice but never answered my concern about house in back. I won't rent a Vrbo house again if this is typical rental.

Great for trip with extended fam

The property was great. It's actually two basically identical rentals, one on the first floor and one on the second, which can be rented separately or as one unit. We had both and one of the families used upstairs as "home base" and we used downstairs, but the families could do stuff together whenever since it's all one house. This meant separate space when needed (like for teens who like to sleep in or for the toddler who very much did not sleep in). We were close to the edgewater beach (10 min drive) and really enjoyed walking the neighborhood. The ice cream shop a block and a half away was great. House is close enough to I- 90 to make trips to Cedar Point or other locations easy but also is in a quite, cute neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again. Really nice space. Thanks so much!!

Cleveland Getaway!

This property was in a nice quiet neighborhood! The outside was a little unkept and dirty. The inside had overall nice finishes but the craftsmanship in the upgrades was definitely lacking! (Floor planks with many gaps, paint not completely covering, toilet seats askew, just overall quickly done). Location was great we were a 5-20 min walk from many restaurants, bars, ice cream and shopping. Overall it was exactly what we needed for our family getaway!

Perfect location, perfect size for large family get together.

We were in Cleveland to celebrate our son's wedding in Gordon Square and this was perfect for our large family to stay together. It was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable in all 8 bedrooms. The four bathrooms were very clean. it is accessible to Gordon Square, Ohio City, West Side Market, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and all Stadiums. Oops don't forget Cleveland Bagel Company and Mitchell's ice cream or the many breweries. We would definitely stay again if back in the area.

Great location and awesome house!

Eight extended family members stayed in the house while in Cleveland for my son’s wedding. The house had plenty of room for all of us and the location was great. We were minutes away from great restaurants, breweries and ice cream! Everyone in my party enjoyed their stay.

Great large house with tasteful upgrades

Our three generation family stayed here on vacation to spend time at Cedar Point. This is an older home that has been tastefully updated with wood floors, newer kitchens and baths, and better quality fixtures. Everything worked as expected and everything was clean and inviting. It was a very nice and quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great time

The house is lovely and split into 2 sections. The upstairs and downstairs, which are closed off from each other but has doors in the back that attach and we think that is really cool. We did not like that the alarm system doesn't work. And there was a moment when a guy wearing head phones was standing at the windows of the house when we were about to leave one night and we caught him looking I'm my car window. This was very uncomfortable. But overall it's a cool house and was clean when we arrived. The door to the 1st floor was a little difficult to open but that's not a big deal. The bed were very comfortable and that's usually rare! So, thank you!
