Overall good experience. Nice place and location. Especially enjoyed the screened back deck! Not a great view of the beach but not far from the beach. Would stay here again!
This was the PERFECT home. The listing was kind of misleading in that it looked older and for some reason I thought it was a duplex. This is a single house in the perfect location. The exterior has been updated as well as the steps to the home. The inside is perfect. It was clean and super nice. We enjoyed all the decks and the screened in porch. The beach is truly just a couple minutes walking distance from the home. We will definitely return to this very home. It was perfect and very affordable. We LOVED it! I cannot say enough god things about this home.
We loved staying in your home. It has everything you could possibly need to have an enjoyable, and carefree vacation! Beach was not crowded WHICH WE LOVED !! Fireworks were amazing !! Highly recommend
This was our first time to vacation in this area! This property was so close to the beach, less than a 3 minute walk. The porches were great, you could hear the ocean! I would recommend you stop at the grocery store in Port St. Joe before heading to the property, there is no where to shop in Indian Pass, we loved it and will definitely be back!
It was easy to find. It was conveniently close to the beach. It was definitely quiet around the home. My grandson enjoyed being able to play his PlayStation that they brought.
Our family had the best time. Great location with a short walk to beach. Only recommendation would be to possibly add a ceiling fan to covered screen porch (it was awesome, we spent most of our time there). And not something that the property could do anything about but bring citronella candles or spray because there are things called yellow flies that will eat you up.
We were looking for a Florida getaway without the crowds. Indian Pass/Port St Joe is the place. This home was one house in from the beach in a cute, quiet neighborhood. The house was great and we spent most of our house time outside on the screen porch. You will find white sugar sand on the beach and miles to walk. Plenty of birds to entertain and we even saw a whitetail deer sleeping in the backyard.
Pet Friendly was a +, but outside grounds and area around under construction still
This place needs new mattress and major updating of interior to be running with the best of the surrounding places in the forgotten coast. Currently, the outside grounds needs care and surrounding neighboring areas are under construction and other need to start clean from the past hurricane Matthew of 2018 and/or other storms. Cleaners do provide a clean and fresh place to stay. Towel and linens very white with and soft, fresh laundry smell. Areas well swept and mopped. For us, it was a good last minute deal. Make the best out of your vacation.
House was well equipped and perfect for our family vacation. Kitchen stocked well with everything to cook. Master needs a new mattress, deep dip in bed. Other bedrooms excellent, porches awesome. Cant see the ocean but can hear it. Quick walk to beach 2-3 mins, boardwalk close. Communication was not stellar with Vacasa. Using Vacasa was the most unpleasant part of the experience. Texts, emails, and app messages just too many places to communicate and receive information and not get answered. If you are the homeowner, go with a different company. Vacasa is subpar!
We absolutely loved Seaside Serenity! It was very quiet, tucked away in an area that was not super populated and had access to the beach within walking distance. The property has beautiful lush florida native foliage that provides the property with both privacy as well as additional shade for the beautiful screened in deck. The beach area was super clean and not busy yet with the summer crowd. Neighbors assured us that this area wasn't very crowded through our most of the summer months. We enjoyed trips to St. George Island, Port St. Joe and Apalachicola. We highly recommend staying at the Seaside Serenity if you looking for a quiet beach get away! LOVED IT!!!
Nice beach house as expected. Clean and functional. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware and utensils. Remember to bring cooking oil and spices if you are planning to cook. Also foil or plastic wrap if you use them. Towels were fluffy and clean. The mattress in master bedroom may be lacking support. It is very soft but not lumpy. Nice area. Had a little trouble locating the correct house at arrival. Short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise and sunset. Make sure you visit the Indian Pass Trading Post for oysters!
