Possibly the most beautiful property I have ever seen! The view of mountains, trees, and meadow from this farm are just idyllic. Adorable farmhouse decor and comfy furniture. Highly recommend! We chose this location to we could drive to both Olympic NP and Mount Rainier NP. It was a lot of driving, and a lot of back roads. But totally worth it.
My family of 4 stayed here with my brother, his wife and my dad. We absolutely loved it, it's lovely, spacious and had a beautiful view of a valley and farm land. The open plan kitchen and living room open into a large porch, and we were able to invite several more relatives over for bagels our last day here. It was so peaceful, and I loved that the TV was in a separate room from the main living area. The only inconvenience was that it was a 15 minute drive to the nearest grocery store or cafe. Beautiful drive though. Would definitely stay here again!
A fantastic property as described in the listing. We were 3 adults and 4 children ages 4-76 and everyone wants to return for another visit. Amazing for all ages.
We were delighted with both the home and the setting. There was lovely space for everyone in our group to spread out and enjoy our reunion. The location was pastoral and relaxing.Close to olympia area attractions and restaurants.Would love to return!
The view overlooking the meadow was beautiful and such a wonderful tranquil setting to wake up to each morning. Has lots of room for the family with an ample dining table which is always a plus.
Property is just as described. We had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and Brooke even left us farm fresh eggs and plenty of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate for the Keurig. The sunrise and sunset were beautiful from the expansive wall of windows. Lots of cozy places to hang out. And it was nice to watch bullet, and the cows and goats. We highly recommend this wonderful guesthouse.
Wow! I wish I could give ten stars, this stay makes you feel like you are in a dream oasis!!!!
It takes a lot for me to stay somewhere that instantly makes feel at home, this place is just that, a home away from home. From the amazing communication to the immaculately clean space to the INCREDIBLE views there is nothing more a person could dream of. Brooke has thoughtfully put heart and soul into making your stay an experience. Me and my guests were so comfortable we didnât want to leave. I strongly recommend staying as long as your schedule will allow. The location is close to all you will want and need however just staying would fill your heart with an abundance of relaxation and joy. The property is immaculately clean and comfortable. The large open cooking area was wonderful for family meals. The large master bedroom is more like a suit than a bedroom. The guest rooms provide plenty of space for family and friends. The back porch is amazing for a cup of coffee or an evening cocktail. The views are simply breathtaking. We could not have been happier with our choice to stay at Hayday. When we booked the property we also booked the beautiful barn for our wedding and the guests were in awe of the beauty of this property. The barn is not your average event barn once again Brooke has brought style and comfort to this event space making it a movie scene location for your event. My gratitude is abundant that they would be willing to share their slice of heaven on earth but this location is just that. Thank you does not say enough for our stay and we fully plan to return!
Picturesque and serene farm great for family getaways
We loved this cozy farm stay. The place is equipped with everything youâll need for a perfect weekend getaway with family and kids. Our toddler loved playing with Bully the donkey. Host was friendly and easily approachable as well
Three family couples were in town for our sonâs wedding and this house was a fabulous fit. Property was better than online pics as views from picture windows were breathtaking! Comfortable and clean, host was great! Upon arrival there were fresh from the garden flowers and farm fresh eggs, we even asked for more and host happily obliged. Would definitely stay here again!
My adult children and I stayed for a week over Thanksgiving. The kitchen is roomy and well stocked for making the big meal.
We checked in with ease, the the check out went just as smoothly.
The house is very roomy and there are several gathering places, as well as privacy in the sleeping areas. This worked out well for us.
We enjoyed hiking trails, river walks, city walks, lunch in Olympia, and the extensive property with farm animals. The views from the house are breathtaking.
I canât say enough great things about our stay and Hayday Heritage Farms! The guest house and property was beautiful! The kids LOVED meeting Bullet and all the other goats and sheep! The house was so welcoming, Brooke and Dan had everything we needed! We made so many memories! Thank you for having us!
Only 30 minutes from Olympia, we were stunned when we walked inside this beautiful ranch house set on a small hill overlooking the farm with mountains in the background. You canât find a more peaceful setting. The great room floor plan also made spending evenings playing games with family easy and enjoyable. Itâs perfect for a family getaway when the goal is spending time with each other.
Great spacious living room kitchen area with wonderful meadow view. Large master with masterbath that is semi seperated from adjacent 3 bedrooms that share apt size bathroom. Small tv monitor in nice living room with adjacent den area for remote work. Farm animals in adjacent pasture. I would rate this 4.5 stars if allowed.
It was beautiful!! Itâs very large and roomy and the âkids roomâ even had toys in the closet that my son had so much playing with. Everything was so clean with beautiful decore. Waking up to those views in the morning was awesome! We did a whole family vacation and we had everything we needed and more than enough space. Their donkey Bullet came to greet us most nights with some of the goats! Will keep as a favorite for the future. Only downside reception was difficult but Wi-Fi worked great!
This farm was the perfect setting for our family birthday celebration. We were impressed with the stunning location with a view that brought the outside in, bathing the rooms in natural light. The living and family rooms were thoughtfully appointed with comfortable sofas and chairs to encourage conversation and relaxation. The kitchen was well appointed and each appliance was excellent, making the chefs quite happy. Whether cooking or sitting around the fireplace, we could always see flocks of birds or the herd of cattle and sheep against the backdrop of the hills in this emerald valley. We all felt as if we had traveled far away to a quiet secluded spot, though in actuality some of us were minutes from our home in Olympia. A memorable stay indeed!!!
When I saw this listing, I had good feelings that this was going to be a great place to stay for a few days. When we pulled up to the house, we all fell in love. The ideal farm house, clean, newly renovated, beautiful open concept kitchen/Living room with an outside patio over looking the huge property. Breathless. It was amazing. To sit outside at night & watch the stars & breathe the fresh air. To wake up & have breakfast on the deck truly a great experience. Brooke was very friendly & not too far away. She made sure everything we needed was at our finger tips. From the frying pan to make our omelets in the morning to the Q-tip in the bathroom vanity. Excellent!! Everything was thought out.
We all were very comfortable & had plenty of space for ourselves. Thank you for making this part of our vacation something to always remember. We also loved to hang with Bullet as well!!!
Maybe one day we will return if it's still available.
Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

This property is a hidden gem in Thurston County. The inside is fresh with many new amenities, the layout is easy to navigate with room for a large group and view is worth a mission dollars. Sitting by the fire and looking out the large bay windows at the rolling hills in the distance and farm animals in the foreground was picturesque.
Our host was accommodating and quick to respond to questions we had. I would highly recommend this location.
Hi, I'm Brooke. I have been hosting for 5-years on another platform and am excited to offer our guesthouse on VRBO!
Our whole family takes part in caring for our farm and the animals each day, rain or shine. Itâs very important to us that our children are raised to appreciate and respect the beauty of farm life. Animals & producing nourishing products provide a sense of responsibility and so much joy to our family.
We are committed to celebrating the history of the area and welcome you to share in the beauty of the farm.
Both my spouse & I grew up in Thurston County so after being away for about 10-years we returned to raise our family where we were raised. Thurston County has a long agricultural history. We feel very lucky to wake every morning and have the farm's serenity surround us. We hope our guests enjoy their time at the farm too.
Hayday Heritage Farm was established in July 2011 when our family purchased part of the historical Endicott pioneer homestead. When the Endicott family arrived from Indiana in 1888, they brought with them a Black Walnut seedling. The beautiful walnut tree that grew from that seed is the centerpiece of the farm today and is registered as a historical landmark.
On our working farm we raise quality grass hay and registered Black Angus. Our three kids are active in 4-H and raise market steers each year to be sold at the Thurston County Youth Market Sale. Other animals that make a home here include a few goats & sheep, chickens and a donkey named Bullet. We have also raised, trained and lived with Australian Cattle Dogs for over 25 years.
