Lovely home and decor. It was very comfortable. There were plenty of things available in the condo for use, ie towels, blankets, pillows, cookware, spices, etc. Don't forget to bring your own coffee, as the resort doesn't have any to purchase for your room and the restaurant doesn't open until 11. There is still construction happening which can be a bit loud during the day- but the price was good and it wasn't crowded which is nice. It is a bit further from town, we stopped at the Super Ley on the way in and didn't really have a need to go anywhere else while at the condo. The hot tub is nice and a good size. Massages are available on the beach outside the resort. You'll find beautiful shells during low tide. Also, the sunsets are stunning.
Beautiful beach and condo, owner great to work with
The property was still under construction during our stay (which we knew when we booked), but the hot tub, one pool, and the small slide pool were all open as well as the restaurant and bar. They were getting ready to open the bigger slide pool when we left. Workers were very cordial and not at all in our way. Condo was perfect for our crew of 4 adults and 2 teens/kids. Kitchen was well stocked and the beds were very comfortable. Internet and TV were good and as reliable as you get in Mexico, and seating was great both indoor and on the patio. But the icing on the cake is the beach. It's in pristine condition, not like what you find at other RP resorts. We saw dolphins, found several live starfish, many sand dollars, tons of shells, and even 2 sea hares. Overall, it exceeded my expectations.
My wife and I stayed here with our 4 kids ranging from 8 - 15. It accommodated us perfectly. The property was stocked well and had everything we needed. We were there over Christmas break so it was a little cooler. It averaged about 68 during the day. The hot tub was heated and very nice. It was plenty big so even with several other groups in it you did not feel crowded. The kids pool and slides were not heated so unfortunately it was too clod for them to use. We want to come back when it is warmer because the slides looked super fun.
The beach was right there and a perfect place to look for sea shells. I have never seen so many in my life. One of the nights we were there the sunset was so amazing it was literally in the top 3 sunsets I have ever seen in my life. There was some construction going on but I think since it was Christmas time they were not doing too much so it never bothered us at all. I could see though if they had a full crew there working it could get loud during the day. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is that they put out a new scrub sponge for dishes each time. The only thing we had to scrub dishes with was an old nasty one that had been used many times over. Other than that it was great. Would definitely come back to this place again.
Great time and such a nice view of the beach. Everything about the condo was excellent, comfortable beds, kitchen had everything you need and decorated very nicely. Property manager omar answered all our questions and was very helpful! Thank you for letting us stay here. Very relaxing stay!
FYI... We didnât watch much TV but Cable in the bedrooms were not set up. Electrical outlets in the kitchen were not working so we couldnât use the kitchen appliances there.
Enjoyed staying and did not want to leave. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The mattress was better than what we have at home. You canât beat the location. Sand Dollars for days. A shellers dream.
If you want to enjoy a beautiful ocean view, an impeccable cleanliness atmosphere, and donât mind existing construction with a lengthy drive away from the city than this is the place to go to. Everything from the bedroom, to the kitchen and living room was exceptionally clean. However, it was difficult to find with GPS Navigation since the road original roadway was closed. But, luckily we were provided with a local guide to provide us with verbal alternative directions. It kind of sucks that there isnât a nearby store, gas station or etc for convenience. Nonetheless I give this place an overall 4 stars. Will definitely make plans to return back to this spot in Rocky Point!
AMAZING! We planned a very last minute weekend trip at the end of spring break. We have four teenagers. To start our trip the property manager called and asked to meet at Sam's Club when we arrived in Puerto Penasco, so we could follow him to the condo. What a help considering it was dark upon our arrival! The condo is located outside of town and in a more remote and private location. Omar (property manager) was friendly and professional, answering all of our questions.
The condo is beautiful. Decor is perfect, linens top quality, beds comfortable, AND THE VIEW IS AMAZING. The first morning was spent sea shell hunting and exploring as there are sea shells galore, not to mention sea life. We found hermit crabs, star fish, eel, and so much more. The beach was empty, only us. How amazing to have our own private beach!
We drove into town (maybe 15 minutes) to enjoy the local food, beaches, and fun. It was certainly nice to be able to return to our private beach and enjoy the gorgeous sunset. As mentioned, the place is still under construction, but we were never bothered by it. The pool was being worked on during our stay and it appeared to be a child's paradise with multiple slides and splash pad. The hot tub was open and we took full advantage of a very nice and large hot tub.
Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and will be back. A couple lessons learned, make sure you have enough food and drink to avoid driving back into town and be prepared to wash your car when you leave. Well worth it in exchange for privacy and beautiful empty beaches!
The condo itself was incredible. 3 bedrooms with a sleeper sofa could reasonably hold 8 people(we had 6 adults). The owner clearly put a ton of effort into decorating, used high quality towels, sheets, and so on. All of the expected amenities were here and some nice surprise ones as well.
That having been said, to call the resort itself unfinished would be putting it mildly. In the entire building, about 5 units are actually built, and approaching the building for the first time is..uncomfortable. There are 2 beautiful huge hot tubs, but the water in them wasn't even as warm as the ocean water. The secluded beach was wonderful, and was unquestionably our group's favorite part of the trip.
The resort is also about 30 minutes from any food/entertainment, which feels a little far, especially considering the local environment. Once the resort is complete(person on location said it would be about a year), this would be less of an issue, as you could choose to just stay at this resort for an entire weekend. But right now it's problematic, especially since driving at night is highly advised against in Puerto Penasco.
Ultimately, I don't regret choosing this unit, and feel that the price we paid was fantastic compared to other resorts in the area for similar. But there were definitely things that could have been improved upon(and presumably will a year or so from now).
My stay at Lisa's Condo was a wonderful experience, she has everything in her home to make your stay comfortable. This Condo is very beautiful, spacious, and clean. The Beach is beautiful and private. Thank you Lisa for always being available.
We Have stocked the kitchen as our own, along this condiment and spices. Feel free to use and leave non perishable items for others to use when you leave.
