Feuilles tombées sur la rivière, Riverfront Cabin-Incredible Views

FALLEN LEAVES ON THE RIVER est une cabane de style chalet de trois étages (construite en 1998), nichée dans une station de rivière de montagne de 8500 acres. Il est situé dans un cadre luxuriant sur la rivière Coosawattee à Ellijay, en Géorgie. Et oui !!! Cette photo de la rivière est la cour avant !!

Les chambres sont charmantes et bien aménagées. Ses planchers de bois franc et ses plafonds à rainure et languette vous procurent une sensation de chaleur, tandis que sa cheminée en pierre à deux étages vous offre de la chaleur pour ces nuits douillettes.

"Fallen Leaves" est idéal pour une escapade romantique pour deux ou des vacances pour une ou plusieurs familles à se réunir. Il peut accueillir jusqu'à 14 personnes. Nous accueillons les groupes religieux.
La cuisine et la buanderie sont entièrement équipées.
Nous fournissons tout le confort de la maison ... en fait, faites des Fallen Leaves votre maison pendant votre séjour !!!

Profitez de la cuisine sur le gril à gaz situé sur le pont du deuxième étage, tout en écoutant les eaux tumultueuses de la rivière Coosawattee ou tout simplement en admirant tout le feuillage luxuriant qui vous entoure.

La salle de jeux est meublée pour votre plaisir avec une table de billard et pour la détente que vous méritez si richement, profitez du spa bouillonnant chauffé. La salle de jeux occupe tout le premier étage et peut être utilisée comme troisième chambre, car elle dispose d'un lit queen-size et d'une demi-salle de bain.

A Serene Escape

One of the standout features of this cabin was how well-stocked it was. The owners clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring that guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. Amazing River Location

Great property! House was clean and very well stocked. Appliances all worked great and the bathrooms were some of the nicest we had in a rental. Yard was perfect for enjoying a little 2 hand touch football and we brought tubes and floated down the river. Kids loved the game room and being able to play in the rapids right in front of the house. I spent most of the weekend in a rocker on the porch reading and listening to the sound of the river. Communication with owners was great and they even recommended local events that were going on in town. We will be back for sure!

Perfect riverside escape.

House is just as advertised, clean and set up for anything you may need. We enjoyed the view of the river and seeing so much wild life throughout the property. Would book again anytime we are back in the area.

Communication was SUPERB!

Valerie was very prompt in responding and I really appreciated that. The property was clean and it is right next to the river so it was relaxing for my 80 yo MIL. Although we didn't catch anything, my kids learned to love fly fishing and spending time with their father. It was a great experience! Don't forget to bring your own fishing gear though!

We loved our stay here! First of all, it was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed at. It was stocked with everything we could need for cooking, extra blankets, pillows and the kids loved the game room! The owner was very accommodating in answering any questions we had. We saw deer immediately as we turned into the neighborhood. So cool! Beautiful drive up to the cabin. We brought some River tubes with us and my teens loved floating on the river. I can’t comment on the resort amenities like the pool, because we didn’t even go! We spent our time watching movies together, playing pool and games, playing and floating on the water. We did go out one day to Amicalola Falls State Park and hiked to the waterfall which was a lot of steps! We stopped at R & A orchards on the way back and got some delicious peaches to bring home. My husband and son did go out and do some off roading on a trail while my daughter and I stayed behind and relaxed at the cabin. I was little jealous that they saw a mama bear and a cub! I was able to relax on the top deck and read for hours and enjoy the nice weather while they were gone. We would definitely stay again! You don’t even have to leave the cabin! Great relaxing vacation.

My family enjoyed our last minute trip. The easy access to the water was great! My boys spent lots of time climbing and playing on the rocks in the water. Pool table was also a big hit!

Hidden Gems are out there and we found one!!

This place was everything and then some! When looking for a place for our family to stay I wanted a place that allowed me us to rest. Rest we did! Just being able to place a beach chair in the Coosawatee while allowing the water to rush over me was enough but your home had so much more! From the ammenities: pool table, hot tub, gas grill, etc... to the blessing of God's creation: Lightning bugs, deer everywhere, listening to the Cicada's at night, and not to mention sitting the Coosawatee River! (Yes it was worth mentioning a second time.) To sum it up our family was blessed to be able to stay here! Thanks so much!

Beautiful River Cabin! … with a little work

Let’s get the minimal low points out of the way first- there aren’t many of them. Once you pass the CRR gate, you are looking at a 15-20 minute drive full of hairpins, switchbacks and bumpy roller coasters, on a mix of good, medium and poor roads. We booked in a resort this time to avoid that nauseating drive. Also my husband and I think it a bit ungenerous not to provide a guest Prime or Hulu account. Not everyone has smart tvs back home to use their own accounts to log in and our Hulu account does not allow live stream outside our zip code. Video monitoring of outdoor areas by host did not bother us, but it might bother some. Nextdoor and back neighbors are around all the time especially on weekends. Onto the positive - much more to say here. The river is the highlight- wow! Children played in river every day for hours. Rushing water lulls you to sleep and a warm fire inside or out makes things cozy and idyllic. Kitchen has lovely cookware and it is a pleasure to prepare dinner. Very clean. Big kitchen table- yeah! Whole family can gather together for three home cooked meals per day. Lots of good memories made. Soft feather beds and massive showers delightful and inviting after a long day on the river. Game room a great retreat for the kiddos and no noise travels so mom and dad can have some quiet time while the kids play. Lots of fun games and the pool table is a huge hit. All around a wonderful week-long vacation for our family!

River

This is the only cabin you need to consider ! Valerie is an amazing host and was very responsive to all my questions before we even booked the home. The cabin was just as pictured but even more breathtaking was the river. We are not much into the ‘river life’ but after we arrived we could not get enough . Just hearing the sounds and watching the water flow through the rocks was amazing . We saw deer everywhere on the drive up and also across the river on the other side of the home we saw them during the early morning . The cabin itself was stocked with all the basic spices and even oil and Pam spray :) The bathrooms and showers were all stocked with shampoo/conditioner that my kids said was ‘luxurious’ . The game room was perfect -we did not end up using the sleeper down there because it did get pretty chilly so a few of the kids stayed in the upstairs loft where there was a futon and there was also a spare twin mattress we dragged from the upstairs closet. We drove into downtown Ellijay (which only took about 20 min) for some coffee and pizza and we got to see different parts of the resort . All we can say is Book your vacation now!

Great location, wonderful cabin

It's perfect. This is the one. Three decks, all with direct river views, a crystal-clear river coursing through the valley with its relaxing sound, it was exactly what we were looking for. Everything was recently renovated, so the fit and finish is much better than most cabins. The string lights on the deck make it feel festive. They stocked it with everything, too. It feels more like your own place than a rental, which makes a big difference. The loft is a special touch. One note: the third bedroom is in the game room with a pull-out sofa bed. It has a half-bath right there, so it is a legit bedroom, and it wasn't a deal-breaker for us at all. The hosts were very accommodating. This place is special. We will be back in the summer!

Beautiful place

Great location and wonderful cabin. Great for families to relax and have a great time. Many family games and outdoor activities. Beautiful outside view and place to do a campfire and gather around with family. Very clean cabin with many things inside. Grocery store and food places not super far from the cabin either. Would definitely recommend, loved it.

Highly recommend!

We stayed here for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! The fire pit and creek out back are the best place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery! The cabin is cozy and well stocked with all you need - it has also been recently updated/renovated! Valerie is a wonderful host! She answered all my questions, and gave suggestions on restaurants and fun things to do in the area! So glad we found this beautiful spot to enjoy our holiday! Highly recommend!

Fallen Leaves is a wonderful place !

This was our second stay at Fallen Leaves. The location is wonderful. The cabin is cozy and has plenty of room. Valerie is a wonderful host. She was always available and responded promptly to our questions. Although the property needs some updating, a couple of mattresses and minor building maintenance the price was competitive, accommodating and affordable for the size of our family. It is our understanding that there will many improvements in the near future and we are hoping to return again next year if the price increase isn’t too significant! Highly recommend this cabin and host!

River front property

House was a bit dated, but had all the necessary amenities required for a comfortable stay plus a jacuzzi on the lower porch and a pool table in the rec room area. The property is located approx. 150 feet from a flowing river which the kids and grandkids had a blast playing in and tubing. There is a decent firepit with chairs along the river as well. This made for relaxing mornings watching the deer, geese, and ducks play in the river. We would definitely stay at the property again. Just make sure to have your families follow the directions to the property very closely and watch for deer! Aaron

Amazing stay

Wow-what a cabin! We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table downstairs was so cozy and fun! And the property…just stunning. The firepit was our main hangout every day. There’s a swing and hammock and chairs around it as well as a picnic table so we cooked over the fire and enjoyed our dinner listening to the rushing river. It was heaven. Definitely would love to come back to this cabin someday! The owners were wonderful and understanding and everything went smoothly. Thank you!

Our family of 5 loves to spend our free weekends and holidays relaxing in our cabin away from the hustle and bustle of work and school life. The river was calling to us so we found this perfect piece of heaven where we love being able to escape and relax with our children.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The location of the cabin right on the river makes it the perfect property! You can hear the rushing sound of the river from the cabin. When we are there, you will find us relaxing on one of the three porch decks, walking along the private beach area, soaking in the hot tub, swinging on the swing or in the hammock and relaxing area around the firepit area. This is the perfect place to get away!
