Wonderful place to enjoy Christmas.
This was a very clean, comfortable, and warm place to stay. There were lots of extra blankets and bedding available as well when we needed them. Lots of kitchen stuff and the bathroom was well stocked with towels and rags.
Corey went the extra mile and even decorated the place for our Christmas stay. It was a great gift of a place to stay as we all came from 4 different directions for the holiday.
The Little House On The Dairy
This place is great We really enjoyed our stay. We have family that lives a couple of miles from here so we will definitely be back! If you’re ever needing a quiet place to get away ,The Little House On The Dairy is the place to stay!
Relaxing, Charming Escape
From the moment we entered the driveway and were greeted by peaches and pumpkins growing alongside the parking area we knew this would be a special adventure. Huge trees shaded the home. Beyond the grassy yard were flowers, corn, tomatoes…crops too many to count.
Once inside the home we were delighted by its spotless charm. The modern appliances were overshadowed by timeless furnishings and decorations. WiFi and television were available and worked well but were strangely unnecessary in a setting that dropped technology to last place on our To-Do List.
Special things are best reserved for personal experience…fresh eggs, chickens, and the hosts’ children responsible for both. Suffice it to say we loved our breakfasts!
We strolled through the grass, visited chickens, cows, new calves, and crops - and enjoyed eight hours of peaceful sleep each night for the first time in many years. Ears of fresh corn appeared on our doorstep. Our (local) grandson spent a few days with us and loved the animals, the children's play area, seeing farm machinery, and belly-rubbing a friendly farm dog.
To the wonderful family who made our stay so special: We look forward to seeing you on our next visit to the area.
Exactly as described and pictured. An amazing stay, quaint and cozy. The owners were so gracious and friendly. Highly recommend to get out of the hustle of the city.
