La propriété Mango Cottage est adossée à notre ferme biologique, Jubilee Organics et est située à quelques kilomètres de la magnifique île Anna Maria.

Palma Sola Florida est une région unique sur la côte ouest de la Floride. Il est niché entre Palma Sola Bay, Tampa Bay et le golfe du Mexique. Cette géographie unique crée un climat très spécial, appelé microclimat, qui soutient la croissance des arbres fruitiers tropicaux. Historiquement, cette zone était une zone commerciale de plantation d'arbres fruitiers tropicaux abritant des mangues, des goyaves, des avocats, des agrumes et des nèfles. Le Mango Cottage a été nommé de manière appropriée en raison du manguier vieux de 150 ans qui surplombe l'arrière-cour. Après avoir fait inspecter l'arbre par des experts de la mangue, on pense que c'était l'une des espèces pionnières que les premiers colons ont plantées dans cette région. C'est vraiment l'arbre «grand-mère» de Palma Sola! La partie la plus cool est qu'elle produit encore des fruits à ce jour. Alors venez profiter de la riche histoire de Palma Sola et à quelques minutes des plages du Golfe, tout en évitant la foule sur la plage.

Notre chalet pittoresque vous donne la vieille sensation de Palma Sola en Floride, mais a été bien entretenu et mis à jour à l'intérieur pour assurer un séjour confortable. C'est une maison parfaite pour vos vacances en famille ou toute escapade à quelques minutes en voiture des belles plages de l'île Anna Maria.

Perfect experience in every way

House is in a great location,close to beach,stores and restaurants. 5 different beaches all within a 10 to 15 min drive. House is more then enough room for 2 or 3 people and is very tastfully decorated and well stocked with every possible need you might have. Owner is easy to work with making me diffently want to come back in the future!!!

Charming gem

It was very easy to communicate with our hosts. Lots of amenities and very clean! This cottage is in a quiet neighborhood and close to a lot of attractions (nature preserves, beaches, Bradenton downtown). Anna Maria Island is s short drive.

Perfect House, Perfect Location

The Mango Cottage is the definition of "vacation mode". The house is beautifully decorated and furnishings are neat and comfortable. The bedrooms have plenty of space and storage. We only used the main bedroom and that mattress is very comfortable. The only item we missed having in the kitchen is a pyrex type dish for use in the microwave. The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are very friendly. We really enjoyed being so close to the Robinson Nature Preserve for walking and biking. The Anna Maria beaches are close and absolutely beautiful. It is really nice that beach chairs, umbrella and towels are also provided at the cottage. The host is very easy to reach and responsive. We truly enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to visit again soon.

Mango Heaven

This house is adorable and in a great location. Love the mango color, mango tree in the backyard, and the fresh mangos and bananas provided. We spent most of our time on the porch swing and super big and comfy couch.

Mango Cottage

My husband and I were delighted with our accommodations in Bradenton. The pretty house was clean, comfortable and close enough to Anna Maria Island for us to begin each day with a 3 hour visit to one of the prettiest beaches ever! We also enjoyed dining on the Island at the Sand Bar & Beach House Restaurants. The quiet location offered us the peaceful atmosphere we were seeking as we sat on the front porch and back deck of the cottage. The weather was perfect--cool in the morning and sunny all day with a slight breeze. We hope to return someday with some of our family members.

Winter getaway

The house is very clean and decorated very nicely. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you would need. The neighborhood is charming and many people walking and biking. Everything is close by. Anna Maria Island is one of my favorite places and we spent most days there on the beach. We would definately stay again

Nice and roomy!

This is an old house but totally renovated! It looks like Pottery Barn on steroids- beautifully decorated- all the rooms are large, beds are comfortable, outside areas are plentiful! There is even a beautiful old tree to sit under in the backyard. The neighbors are friendly and speak to you while sitting on the fun front porch. We had a family emergency (dementia of Dad) and left a day early and surprisingly received a refund. Would recommend!!!!

Excellent place to "recharge"

Mango Cottage was everything you can ask for when looking for a place to relax and unwind. We enjoyed having our morning coffee in the backyard and watching and listening to all the birds. We enjoyed walking in the surrounding neighborhood, as well. Having access to beach towels was a great option. The washer/dryer combo came in handy, also. We hope to be able to come back again in the future to continue exploring the area. Thanks for providing this awesome cottage. :)

A Perfect Place To Start The New Year!

We picked the perfect cottage to recharge and relax for the new year! Quite, clean and comfortable, the cottage is located in an area that makes it a great home base for exploring the area. This two bedroom, one bathroom home is perfect for one couple or a small family. We will miss swinging on the front porch with morning coffee and with cocktails at sunset!

Lovely Christmas cottage

My boyfriend, his two daughters, and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mango Cottage. It has everything you could ever need and is convenient to so many local attractions. If back in the area we most certainly will repeat our stay there!

Perfect stay for family of 4

We loved our stay here! The cottage is even better than the photos show, bigger than expected on a very quiet street not far from AMI. The decor is lovely & we felt right at home. Would highly recommend this place!

This was the perfect place to celebrate our mom’s 80th birthday!

The space - inside and out - was exactly what we were hoping for. A very open, tastefully furnished cottage with everything we needed and close to the water! What more could one ask for? We’ll definitely be back!

I can't think of a single thing I'd suggest to improve this property. It was better in person than the pictures, and the pictures are great. It does have a hairdryer, beach umbrella, and beach chairs (not mentioned in the VRBO listing). And Palma Sola Bay is a few houses away--lovely to take walks and look at the water. Also sitting on the front porch swing, also sitting under the big tree in the back yard on the comfortable lawn furniture. I hope we can come back again!

Lovely getaway Cottage!

I did not intend to stay only 30 minutes from my home. Then this Cottage popped up on VRBO and I checked out the photos. It was adorable and decorated in the kind of style that I try to use in my own home! So even though I wanted something totally different than what I already knew, I jumped on the opportunity to stay there. It's on a quiet street and just enough out of the way that you feel like you are on vacation. It's about 10 minutes, if that, to the beach, which is what I wanted. I really didn't have to go anywhere because it was just so nice to be by myself, in a place I could think, meditate and reflect. I sat on the front porch swing and read. I sat on the front steps and had a chat with the neighbor. I had breakfast on the back deck, looking at the huge old mango tree and did not mind the heat. I was able to nap on the large comfy sofa, loaded with pillows! Overall, Mango Cottage was the perfect place I needed to be to take a week off from life. Thank you so much!

Liz and I are transplants to Florida from Venice Beach California. Liz is Mexican and I'm a Maniac (as in Maine). We built a triplex at Venice Beach decades ago and rented out two apartments via Vacation Rentals websites since 2015. Interesting fact is that we had a two bedroom which seemed to attract Europeans at the end of US vacations and a one bedroom that catered to US vacationers, frequently parents of Venice residents (average age in Venice is 31). We bought the Mango house, last summer, as we fell in love with it's charm. We've spent from Sept to Dec 2021 getting fully renovated/updated for guests. It was a chore!!! If you have sea legs you'll feel right at home, the place is 100 years old!!. We'll do whatever we can to make it a great comfortable stay. If you kayak just up the street is the Robinson Preserve. Palma Sola is an old part of town. Sit on a beach at Anna Maria across the causeway. We stroll the beach at night, incredible experience.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

It's charming and very very quiet. Disclaimer: sometimes you'll hear a rooster! A quick walk of a few hundred yards takes you the Bay of Anna Maria-simply charming and so serene. I like to walk down to the bay at night after dinner.

First and foremost we take pride in cleanliness. Not to high light the fact it is old and charming it's spotless clean and fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives.
