Property is conveniently located. Communication was great. We were bummed that the beach was unswimmable due to the sargassum. No major issues.

Perfect vacation

We spent 5 nights in paradise. The condo was clean and comfortable. It could use a little updating but we spent so little time inside it didnt matter. Most of our time was spent enjoying the view and the breeze on the gallery. We never even turned on the TV! The beach and location were great. We did small morning trips each day to see the island then enjoyed the afternoon and evening on the beach or on our gallery. Thank you, Earl for providing a great place for island visitors!

Breeze on In

Sugar Beach is a great place to stay. Our unit was on the first floor with direct access to the beach and a short walk to the pool. Parking was convenient. The unit is a bit dated and we did experience a couple cockroaches in the unit. The floor didn't appear to have been cleaned but was tolerable. The TV didn't work when we arrived but Earl came over and got it working within a day. The overall experience I would rate as above average and at that price point was a good value.

Location is amazing!

The location and proximity to the beach were great! The pool was nice too. This condo is stocked with all you need to prepare simple meals and drinks as well as go to the beach. Needs a new cooler and an umbrella would be nice. It’s very dated and needs a facelift but clean when we arrived. The property manager was great- very responsive and stopped by when we needed him. Definitely plan to return!

Beautiful location unfortunately the condo needs maintenance, such as steps to the beach are rotting, loose and has a missing hand rail. The metal grate is held up by the missing handrail. The best part of the condo was the friendly orange cat who visited us daily and the proximity to the beach. Earl was wonderful and had the clogged drain fixed quickly. Reading the reviews, I was not expecting an updated condo but I wasn’t expecting a condo needing basic maintenance to be done.

Vacation at St Croix

Nice property and quick response by property manager whenever we had questions or needed support.The beach sand has some sharp small rocks so bring beach shoes to go walk on the beach.

Great Place - Fabulous Location

We had a wonderful time at the condo. Could not beat the view or the location. A few small issues (light not working in one of the bathrooms/dishwasher a bit difficult to use) and the place could use an update but we had a fabulous time. The beach is spectacular - snorkeling,swimming and the added entertainment of occaisional kite surfers!

Perfect location on a walk out unit. Being steps away from the ocean with all the amenities of home. We had another wonderful time!

Our 4th time staying in the condos. 1st time in this unit. Is older and dated, but that's not why a person comes here. It's what's out the front door!!!! Could use a new master bed. On our last day, Delta cancelled our return trip home. Earl was awesome and let us stay for the rest of the day since our flights were moved until the evening. Thanks Earl!!

Great Spring break getaway!

We had a great family vacation to St. Croix! The condo was in a great location and we loved being able to walk right out to the beach from our place. The beach was well maintained too. The condo was spacious for our family of 4 and I loved that there were 2 twin beds for my girls so they didn't have to share a bed. Earl was fast to get back with any questions we had as well. We would stay here again if we come back to the island. Thank you for having us!

St. Croix four

Sugar Beach is the best area to stay in all of St. Croix. We have stayed at various units at the same condo. This was our first time on ground floor. We loved it!

You pay for location, definitely not the condo!

This was our 2nd time staying in this unit and nothing has changed since we were there 3 years ago. We stay because of the direct beach access. The condo itself is in need of major TLC! It is very run down and outdated! Things are literally falling apart - everything from broken lamps to holes in walls. It has not been renovated since the late 80s/early 90s. This time we had no a/c our entire stay so we are waiting on hopefully a partial refund. If you are looking for a place to walk right onto the beach and enjoy the sea and listen to waves crashing at night, this is it. If you want a nice condo this is not your place! We spend most of our time on the beach or at the pool and used the condo mainly for sleeping. We couldn't cook because it was just too humid with no a/c. Earl our host has been amazing to deal with both times we've stayed.

Great family vacation spot

We had a wonderful stay at the property on Sugar Beach. The condo was spacious and comfortable. We loved opening the back door, literally onto the beach. We even saw a rainbow at sunset right from Sugar Beach; it was so beautiful. At night, we really enjoyed the sea breeze while we slept. Our son loved the pool, which was not crowded and had plenty of deck space, and a some pool toys, too. The neighbors were lovely. There was plenty of parking. Check in and out was simple, and we had excellent communication withe the property manager.

Great Condo at Sugar Beach!

We previously stayed in another unit at Sugar Beach and couldn't wait to come back. You will love walking out to the beach and relaxing all day to the sound of the waves. The condo was clean, very spacious for two couples and well stocked with everything we might need for the week. Would definitely book again if we come back to St. Croix!

Better Than Expected

Really enjoyed our stay here over the New Year Holiday. Photos of the place are a little misleading. We were concerned the porch/patio looked a little dark in the photos. We were pleasantly surprised by how bright and airy it was. The whole unit was great. The breeze kept the place cool, and the locks on the porch will let you sleep with the place open to the outside. Entry door updated with digital dead bolt so no need to keep track of a key. The beach is nice. Doesn't compare to the best beaches on the island, but it is literally right out the back door! Plenty of room for the whole family (Wife, Myself, and 2 adult children). Might have been an issue with the air conditioning, but we didn't even try to turn it on until our last night there. Only thing we would have liked to see is some way to wash/rinse sand from feet at the beach entry. Overall this is a great place to stay on the island.

Terrible experience

The building and location are great but we spent 10 days with no hot water and part of the electrical off. We were greeted by a maintenance person who was trying to repair a electrical problem that was never fixed. NO hot water to shower or clean with. Had to use the stove to warm water to clean dishes. Had to ask neighbors to use there shower. Earl the management guy had lots of excuses but did not fix the issue. Wiring in this unit is scary and unsafe. I do expect a refund

Adult Family Vacation

I rented 2 condos next to each other for 7 adults. This one was not a nice. It needs updates and a good cleaning. The location is beautiful, furniture comfy but we had problems with the lock box and you couldn't shut the front door sometimes unless you slammed it. Our other place you just had to punch in a code. Much more convenient!! Our biggest problem was the electricity was out in the 2nd bathroom. Earl did what he could but we could not get an electrician so 4 people sharing 1 bathroom was a pain. They did refund some money at the end. Overall, it was nice vacation but it needs updates.
