Vatra Verde is a 104 sqm A-Frame cabin set in the valley of Valea Doftanei in Prahova County — a quiet, forested corner of the Subcarpathians less than two hours from Bucharest. The cabin's distinctive triangular architecture, floor-to-ceiling glazing and wraparound outdoor spaces make it as much a retreat to look at as to live in. Designed for up to 4 adults with everything needed for a full, unhurried stay: two bedrooms across two floors, two bathrooms, a wood-burning fireplace, an outdoor BBQ with covered kitchen and dining area, and a fire pit for evenings under open sky.

Ground Floor — Living and Bedroom
Open-plan living and kitchen area with a wood-burning fireplace as its centrepiece — the natural focus of the space for winter stays. Smart TV 139 cm with cable TV and streaming accessible with your own account. Air conditioning with heat pump for year-round comfort. Blackout curtains and mosquito nets on all windows. The ground floor bedroom has two single beds (90x200 cm each) — suitable for two adults or children. Private bathroom on the ground floor with shower and hairdryer.

Upper Floor — Master Bedroom and Bathroom
The upper floor holds the master bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200 cm), blackout curtains, mosquito nets and its own en-suite matrimonial bathroom. The pitched A-Frame roofline creates a distinctive sleeping space with Velux skylights above — a rare and memorable room.

Kitchen
Well-equipped interior kitchen: 2-ring induction hob, electric oven, extractor hood, Bosch Tassimo espresso machine with capsules provided, electric kettle, toaster, sandwich maker, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. Salt and pepper grinders, cookware, glassware and utensils all provided.

Outdoor Spaces
The outdoor area is the heart of Vatra Verde. A covered outdoor kitchen and dining area adjacent to the cabin seats 6 with cushioned chairs, fitted with a wood and charcoal BBQ grill, kitchen utensils, sink and a separate display fridge — perfect for alfresco meals in any weather. A fire pit with seating is set further into the garden for evening gatherings. The surrounding green space and valley views complete the setting.

Gazebo — Additional Outdoor Facilities
A separate gazebo in the garden provides an additional WC and basin — practical for guests spending time outdoors without needing to return to the main cabin.

Family Amenities
Travel cot with mattress and a high chair available for families with young children.

Heating, Comfort and Connectivity
Air conditioning with heat pump — wall-mounted thermostat in each room for individual control of heating and cooling. Wood-burning fireplace in the living room for additional warmth in winter. Blackout curtains and mosquito nets throughout (all windows except upper Velux skylights). 500 Mbps fibre WiFi. No washing machine.

Parking and Access
One private parking space in the enclosed courtyard. Self check-in via lockbox mounted on the wall to the right of the cabin entrance — gate is always open from front and back. Waste disposal bins in the courtyard.

• Child Safety: To avoid injury, please supervise small children at all times while inside the property.
• Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the apartment. You are welcome to use the balcony for smoking. Please note that smoking inside the property will result in a 500 lei penalty fee.
• Pets: Pets are not allowed on the premises.
• Parties and Events: No parties or organized events are allowed.
• Quiet Hours and Schedule: Please respect the designated quiet hours (22:00–08:00 and 12:00–14:00). Standard check-in is from 16:00 to 21:00, and check-out is between 09:00 and 11:00.
• Early/Late Access: An additional fee will apply for requests regarding early check-in or late check-out.
• Long-Term Stays: For stays exceeding 10 nights, a mandatory mid-stay cleaning will be scheduled (following additional payment). This includes a change of bed linens, towels, and toiletries, as well as vacuuming and mopping of the floors and kitchen.
• Invoicing: If you require a fiscal invoice for your stay, we can provide one upon request.
• Damages: Any damage to the property or loss of belongings is the responsibility of the guest and will be billed accordingly.
• Legal Requirement: Completing the accommodation form is mandatory in accordance with Romanian Law (GD 237/2001, republished in 2008, Article 2, paragraph 5). Please ensure you complete the check-in form sent to you via the platform messages.V
