Situé à 2 lots du lac Snyder, une communauté rurale à seulement 15 minutes du centre-ville d'Albany, N. Y Charmant et rustique, beaucoup de pin noueux partout. Grande chambre principale en mezzanine avec plafonds voûtés en pin noueux et boiseries en bois franc. Grand style campagnard dans la cuisine avec armoires en pin noueux originales. 2 salles de stockage plus grande buanderie avec espace de travail. La cour arrière offre une vue sur le lac. Nouveau chauffage au gaz et eau chaude. Vue sur le lac Snyder depuis la cour arrière.

traveled to NY to visit family.

Overall stay was very nice. House met all our needs. You only need to bring your food. Was not able to access lake only had a view of it behind the house. I stayed in upstairs bedroom it was very comfortable. The house does need a spring cleaning. House does have an issue with little creatures. Notified owner on day one but never heard from anyone until the night before I was scheduled to leave. I would stay again if I get the opportunity.

Wynantskill

This cottage was so sweet. All needs covered. Nice quiet area in the country. Lake nearby is beautiful. Cottage is spotless, like I said soaps, kitchenware, linens etc provided. We needed nothing. The cottage is beautifully decorated and maintained. Needed the access code and owner replied shortly with the info. Great communication. She also let us know local places to visit. In the cottage names of local restaurants. The Towne Tavern was great. Nearby Albany where our reunion was. Would stay again for sure.

Anniversary trip

We stayed for 1 week in the cabin. Everything was great!!! Kitchen was well stocked and plenty of towels and beds were very comfortable. I loved all the cute decorations in cabin and the rustic feel of the knotty pine!!! Owner was great she provided list of restaurants and instructions for tv and cable!!! Great check in and if we had any problems she said to call her which was greatly appreciated. Thank you karen for our wonderful retreat in albany!!!

Lovely cottage

My wife and I came here to have Thanksgiving with our daughter, who is in school in the area. The house was very comfortable and kitchen very adequate for preparing the holiday feast.

Quaint cottage

It's a cottage, not a condo. Lots of knotty pine and country features. Had everything we needed for 5 day stay!

Christmas Cabin

This is our second stay and first time in the winter. Cozy little cabin close to family that we were in town visiting. A little chilly when we first arrived, but plenty of space heaters to warm things up as much as you like. Bring slippers during a winter stay. Guitar/piano, and TV's in each room were great. We'll stay again the next time we're back for a family visit.

Our Home Away From Home!

We absolutely love staying at Karen's place when we are in New York. We have enjoyed two Thanksgivings and counting at this cozy and comfortable home. We especially like the full laundry room so we can bring less clothing. High speed internet and streaming services are a big plus as well. Thank you, Karen!

Great location, nice country cottage

We needed a good place to stay to visit family in the area and this fit the bill perfectly! It is cute and has a very inviting lake cottage feel. My husband needed to work during the day and the wi-fi was reliable which was a must. And because we were there for several days, having laundry was a huge plus! The location is pretty right near the lake and the cottage had almost everything we needed. (We added a couple inexpensive kitchen items for future guests, but we didn't mind). The kitchen/dining room is big and open and we were able to host friends/family for a few dinners. We came in the winter and I would love to visit again when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake more. The owner was easy to work with and I would recommend this to others for sure!

Comfortable Cottage

Clean and comfortable cottage near but not on the lake. Owner has covered every detail for an enjoyable stay. Easy drive to capital district in a quiet neighborhood away from the noise and traffic of the city.

Cozy House on Lake

Although clearly there off-season, we had a great stay in Wynantskill! It was the perfect spot to relax when not visiting with our family who live in the area. We were especially thankful for the easily navigable full kitchen and comfortable living room space. We would definitely stay there again :)

A beautiful spot!

We stayed here for a month and it was just perfect for us. A bit off the beaten track but close to family and friends. Karen, left detailed instructions and answered all of out questions. It was nice having all the amenities of home! And the views of the lake were spectacular. We ate already planning our next stay.

Great little cabin

We were in Albany for a little over a month for work. I brought my wife and we both enjoyed our stay. The caretakers Jim and Joanne and Jim are great people and were very helpful for things to do and places to go on the weekends.

A lovely stay

My roommate and I had a wonderful, relaxing time in this cozy little cottage. We loved the whimsical decor, the presence of the piano and guitar, and walking by the beautiful lake.
