This gorgeous retreat on the River Dee in the heart of Llangollen is perfect for a couple and their dog. With a residents’ car parking pass provided, park up and start exploring the town, with fabulous eateries and independent shops. Take a ride on the horse-drawn canal boats and Llangollen Railway, the only standard gauge railway in North Wales. It is situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty running alongside the River Dee, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Visit the town’s museums and Plas Newydd house. Walk along the river, canal and paths on Offa’s Dyke and the Berwyn Mountains. Within 5 miles are Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Pistyll Rhaeadr and National Trust's Chirk Castle.
Enter this delightful apartment created with your comfort in mind. Hang up your outdoor attire and walk into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. To the left is the creatively designed kitchen, ideal to rustle up a meal with your local produce purchases. The dining table is the perfect setting to enjoy time over a meal and plan your holiday activities with the books and maps provided. After a full day out, relax on the comfortable sofa, listen to music or watch a film on the Smart TV. Open the door and let the outside in with the sound of birdsong and the river. The enclosed garden is in an elevated position commanding fabulous riverside views with private steps and a gate down to the river path. The paved patio is a unique spot to enjoy refreshments from sunrise to sunset with a table and chairs.
