There is something for everyone here to just relax or get involved in activities. Bala, 3.5 miles away, offers cafes, pubs, shops, a swimming pool and Wales’s largest natural lake. Enjoy paddleboarding, boating, a stroll around the lake or a ride around on the steam railway. Being in the southernly tip of Snowdonia National Park, you can enjoy an abundance of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities, and events in and around this stunning scenery. For the more adventurous, all within a 30-mile radius, there’s the National White Water Centre, Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, King Arthur’s Labyrinth and the renowned mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin.
This cosy accessible family barn has a lovely feel with all you need for your holiday. Walk into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, hang up your coats and enjoy a coffee or tea as you settle in. If you decide to eat in, with local purchases from your travels, the kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. You will find the washing machine in the shared laundry room. The dining table is the perfect setting to enjoy a meal together while planning your holiday activities. After a full day out, relax on the sofa to enjoy your favourite programmes on the TV. Also on the ground floor is the shower room and WC; enjoy a leisurely shower to start or finish your day. When you’re ready for bed, there are two bedrooms to choose from: the twin on the ground floor or the family bedroom upstairs with a double and single bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. Both the bedrooms have been designed for a good night’s sleep.
Outside, enjoy your morning coffee at the picnic bench in the enclosed patio, making the most of this elevated location with lovely views over the rolling countryside and the river in the distance. Maybe light the charcoal BBQ for a spot of al fresco dining. You are welcome to explore the designated footpaths in the farmland and stroll down to the River Dee. There is an accessible ramp up to the property and private parking for two cars. This property has a private water supply.
