Set on a smallholding alongside two other lodges, the property is surrounded by rolling fields and grazing livestock, including friendly alpacas that add to the charm of the setting. The area’s sense of calm is second to none, with countless opportunities to explore on foot or by bike right from your doorstep. Hike to the summit of Moel Famau (11.5 miles), the highest hill in the Clwydian Range, or follow stretches of the renowned Offa’s Dyke Path (7 miles), a long-distance trail showcasing some of the Dee Valley’s most spectacular scenery. For traditional seaside days out, the North Wales coast is within easy reach, with the beaches of Talacre (7 miles), Prestatyn (7 miles), and Rhyl (10 miles) all offering sandy shores and family-friendly attractions.
Beautifully designed to maximise both space and comfort, this stylish single-storey lodge combines contemporary interiors with thoughtful finishing touches throughout. The open-plan living space forms the sociable heart of the property, bringing together the kitchen, dining area and lounge to create a welcoming setting for spending quality time together. The modern kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with sleek fittings and quality appliances, making meal preparation a pleasure, while the comfortable lounge area features plush sofas arranged around a Smart TV – perfect for cosy movie nights and box set marathons. Towards the rear of the lodge, a hallway leads to the three beautifully presented bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Soft bedding, comfortable mattresses and Smart TVs add an extra touch of comfort throughout. The master king-size bedroom benefits from its own en-suite shower room, while the double and twin bedrooms share access to a stylish family bathroom.
One of the lodge’s standout features is its wonderful outdoor space. Step through the patio doors onto the spacious veranda, where panoramic countryside views, comfortable outdoor seating and a six-person hot tub create the perfect place to relax and unwind. A short flight of steps leads down to a gravelled BBQ area, ideal for making the most of warm summer afternoons. Private parking for up to four cars is also available.
