Charming holiday home near the lake

Access to the wood-fired sauna by the lake is available by arrangement with the owners of the holiday home. Newly renovated guesthouse with a large terrace and grill. In winter, there is a barbecue area on the property.



Fantastic swimming spots, hiking trails, running routes, canoe rentals, and the opportunity to pick mushrooms. Berries and forests are just a few hundred meters from the house. The well-maintained ski slopes of the Hindås Ski Club are accessible in winter, and when it's cold, it's possible to ice skate on the lake about 200 meters from the house.



There is a 12 m² loft with a double bed. A stable yet steep staircase leads to the loft. On the ground floor, there is a sofa bed and a television (streaming) The area can be separated with soundproof curtains.



The bathroom is spacious for a small house and features both a shower and underfloor heating. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a short stay, including a small refrigerator with a freezer compartment, stove, microwave, etc. (There is no oven). The house is equipped with an air heat pump that heats in winter and cools in summer.



There is a train station with train connections to Gothenburg and Borås just a 12-minute walk from the house, and the bus stop is 7 minutes away. Direct trains/buses to central Gothenburg and Borås take 30 minutes.



200 meters from the house is the Hindås Canoe Club, where you can swim and also rent a canoe to paddle through the Östra and Västra Nedsjöarne (highly recommended) as well as the old beautiful canal that connects the lakes.



In 2025, the spa hotel Hjortviken opened its doors in Hindås. There was enormous hype about the hotel, with articles in Forbes and The Independent stating that it is one of the most anticipated openings in the world that year. You can eat, drink, swim, and enjoy other activities even if you are not staying at the hotel. Perfect for when you want something delicious to eat or to spend a rainy day!



Hindås has positively developed since the 1940s, driven by tourism, leading to 14 hotels and guesthouses as retreats for the stressed and affluent citizens of Gothenburg. In summer, they were drawn to Hindås with its refreshing, pure air, beautiful nature, and splendid swimming spots in the clear Västra and Östre Nedsjöarne (Gothenburg sources its drinking water from these lakes). In winter, a special sports train with ski racks on the outside ran on weekends from Gothenburg to Hindås for relaxing weekends on the slopes. In the solid, warm hotels and guesthouses of the 1940s, traditional sweet punch was served as after skiing. Snow cannons ensure cross-country skiing conditions in winter.
