No smoking/pets. WiFi, fuel, power, linen and towels included. Max occupancy 6, including visitors; penalties apply. No children under 12. Ring doorbell for security. No wheelchair access; easier rear access for limited mobility. Friday arrival preferred; Monday by approval. Up to 2 extra guests by prior arrangement only (£350pp or £500pp in peak months: Feb half term, Easter, May bank holidays, June–Sept, Oct half term, Christmas, New Year). The Neighborhood:
A picturesque Victorian burgh in the area of Perth and Kinross, Pitlochry has been a popular tourist destination since the visit of Queen Victoria back in 1842. An area renowned for its outdoor activities, the town is surrounded by the Ben Vrackie and Schiehallion mountains, excellent for hillwalking, there is also the stunning River Tummel with its scenic dam and boat hire available, alternatively you can watch on with a warm coffee in the Boating Station Café. Pitlochry also has a golf course and the Tay Forest Park to keep you busy, the dramatic Cairngorms National Park also comes nearby for some serious walking and cycling. The town hosts festivals and is home to a number of different shops and restaurants to enjoy. With the Blair Athol Distillery also available, this town has something for everybody. The astonishing city of Perth makes for a wonderful day trip with its incredible architecture, wide range of amenities and other activities such as its museum and art gallery. A fabulous area of Scotland with much to do.
