Heilan Roo offers open-plan living with a fully equipped kitchen (oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and coffee machine), dining area for 8, sitting area with Smart TV and electric fire, plus a utility with washer/dryer. There are 3 super-king bedrooms, 1 king-size zip/link bedroom, 3 bathrooms. Garden with patio, decking, stream views, wood-fired hot tub, BBQ, fire pit, waterfalls, parking for 3 cars. WiFi, fuel, power, linen and towels included. Pub and river 0.3 miles, shop 3.4 miles. No smoking or pets. Maximum occupancy 6 guests (including visitors); no children under 12. Ring doorbell in operation. Not wheelchair accessible. Friday arrivals preferred; Monday arrivals by prior approval. Up to 2 additional guests by arrangement (£350pp or £500pp in peak periods). Hot tub may be unavailable during freezing conditions. For stays of 14+ nights, a housekeeping visit takes place each Friday at 10am for a linen change and bathroom refresh.
The Neighborhood:
A picturesque Victorian burgh in the area of Perth and Kinross, Pitlochry has been a popular tourist destination since the visit of Queen Victoria back in 1842. An area renowned for its outdoor activities, the town is surrounded by the Ben Vrackie and Schiehallion mountains, excellent for hillwalking, there is also the stunning River Tummel with its scenic dam and boat hire available, alternatively you can watch on with a warm coffee in the Boating Station Café. Pitlochry also has a golf course and the Tay Forest Park to keep you busy, the dramatic Cairngorms National Park also comes nearby for some serious walking and cycling. The town hosts festivals and is home to a number of different shops and restaurants to enjoy. With the Blair Athol Distillery also available, this town has something for everybody. The astonishing city of Perth makes for a wonderful day trip with its incredible architecture, wide range of amenities and other activities such as its museum and art gallery. A fabulous area of Scotland with much to do.
