VIDA Chelem- BRISA est situé dans la cour casita, à l'ombre d'un bel amandier. Cette unité offre une chambre très confortable avec 2 lits doubles, les deux avec des couvre-lits fabriqués à la main à Oaxaca.
La chambre est climatisée et dispose de ventilateurs de plafond et contient également les éléments suivants;
Réfrigérateur, four à micro-ondes, plaque chauffante à 2 brûleurs, four grille-pain, grille-pain, fer à repasser, cafetière, bouilloire, 4 assiettes, bols, assiettes à salade, tasses à café, couverts pour 4, 8 verres, ustensiles de cuisine pour pichet, casseroles et poêles à frire, bols à mélanger, conteneurs de stockage des aliments, poubelle, balai et porte-poussière et produits de nettoyage. Vous pourrez également profiter de 2 chaises de jardin et de hamacs dans le jardin ou vous asseoir sur la véranda donnant sur le golfe du Mexique, qui est accessible par un passage couvert.
La salle de bain a du savon et du shampoing pour le corps fournis dans la douche, ainsi que 4 serviettes de bain, 4 serviettes à main, 4 débarbouillettes et 2 grandes serviettes de plage.

Lovely place, lovely people

Probably the nicest villa in Chelem. Great location & beautiful place to swim in the pool or ocean. The owners & caretakers became friends. We look forward to our return next year.

This is a jewel in a dream. A place I did not think could exist. Clean, tidy , with access to the ocean, and food, all within walking distance.

We had stayed in VIDA-Chelem for 6 nights and loved every minute. Jairo was a great host who was both kind and professional. If we wanted to swim in the pool or have private access to the ocean, both were 30 seconds away! Literally! The room was incredibly comfortable and we were really impressed by the attention to detail. Whether you needed a toaster, apple peeler, or a hammock, Jairo thought of everything. Overall, my stay was relaxing, comfortable and uplifting. I highly recommend.

Mexico at it's finest!

This little slice of heaven was exactly what we were looking for. Away from the fanny-packers in the tourist towns we truly felt we were in real Mexico. First let me just say the property managers Kimberly and Stan are phenomenal! They are so welcoming and ready to assist with ANYTHING you may need. I now consider them true friends and look forward to visiting the area again just to hang out with them! Now for the area and the property... We found everything we needed in the little town of Chelem. The people are exceptionally friendly and while few speak English they are patient and creative in figuring out what you are trying to say. We didn't need a car because we were comfortable with the public transport AND we made some remarkable friends that carted us around a bit. The BRISA rental was quaint but ideal for the two of us. We could make a simple meal when we wanted to and the beds were very comfy. Fully equipped with what you need to be comfortable for a week. Easy access to the beautiful beach and the perfect patio area for sunsets and dolphin spottings. The grounds are spotless and secure. When you are ready to hang in a hammock by the sea - book this paradise!

Best place to stay in Chelem

The hosts are incredibly gracious, the room and grounds are immaculate and the location is fabulous-on the beach and in walking distance to town restaurants, shopping and public transportation.

Location and property are excellent. Victor was super friendly and helpful. Only the owner was there during our stay, who was a very gracious host. He gave us several recommendations to visit. When the battery of our rental car died, he offered up his car. But we already had called the rental car company who dispatched help. But JR called his brother who was able to jump the car and we were able to cancel the service request and went our way. The place to be for folks who enjoy nature and like to interact with locals.

The Perfect Location!!!

The beach is so beautiful, calm and sargassum free. There is so much to do in the area: Ruins, tour historic Merida, or just relax. I did not want to cook on my holiday and the beach house is so close to 3 great restaurants, walking distance to El Bull Pen, Martinis and TacoMaya. If you do want to cook Merida Costco is less than 20 minutes away or great grocery store in Progresso. There is a grocery store in Chelem too. The property shows pride in ownership and the managers Kim and her husband are just a phone call away.

Great location, Safe and Secure

We have been using VRBO for more than a decade and this is the best service we have had at any of the units we have rented. Victor the on site person was friendly and very accommodating and is working on his english which was always a lot of fun. When the internet went down, Don, the local property manager brought over his own cell router for the remainder of our stay. There was suppose to be a washing machine for our use which was broken, however, the local laundry service was very inexpensive and did a good job. The complex is privately walled and feels very safe and secure.

Vida Chelem

Kim and Stan were wonderful. Victor maintained the property beautifully. The overall condition was excellent. Rooms were clean and stocked properly. The only complaints are no reading light or chair and internet was not available most of the time. Kim is aware of these issues and they will be remedied. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will return next year

What a lovely place to spend around New Years!

First of all, Kimberly was great...so helpful. Secondly, the Yucatan is such a lovely place! We visited Mayan ruins, swam in cenotes, and ate delicious tortillas made fresh by local residents. The seafood in Chelem is awesome. Then the place. We stayed in the BRISA room/apartment in VIDA Chelem. Not too fancy, but everything we needed and steps from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Every morning watching the fishermen and the pelicans while sipping a cup of coffee. Then later in the day, enjoying the cool water (December/January) with warm air and tropical sunshine. Then... New Year's Eve in the Yucatan...Quite the celebration! Burning the old year and launching Chinese lanterns... music and dancing in the streets. Want to go back soon!

Average facilities, at best.

This studio unit is a bit Spartan, but a view of two other units found them quite nice. No heat for cold mornings, until a small space heater was provided, and there is a small ant problem. Plastic outdoor chairs broken and need replacement. Decent location, on the beach and small walk to grocery and restaurants, in old town, with signs of an area ready to grow. Good response from managers.

A little slice of paradise

Our experience started with Kimberly rescuing us when the Uber driver dropped us off a mile from the complex. It just got better from there. The unit was spotless, the grounds beautiful and it was wonderful falling asleep to the breeze and the crashing of the waves.

Casita in Paradise

From the minute I entered the property I knew that I had found a little piece of paradise that I could call mine for a short while. My casita became home and I loved every minute of being there. The breeze from the gulf coming through the beautiful slatted windows along with the ceiling fans kept me cool. I wanted to be close enough to the village to be able to walk to restaurants and food stands etc. The location was perfect. I had access to the beach and the water when I wanted it, or I could sit outside my casita in the sun and cool off in the pool. The casita was roomy and had everything that I needed. I highly recommend this lovely casita in paradise.

Truly a little piece of heaven!

This place was wonderful, it’s in walking distance to everything in Chelem. It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable beds, great internet service, and lots of hot water for showers ( a rare find in Mexico lol ) Very clean private beach and totally secure. We accidentally locked our keys in the room, sent an email to the owner who responded within minutes and had someone at the place right away to get us back in. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! Kimberly who checked us in speaks perfect English and Spanish so check in was very easy she was very helpful with directions and recommendations. There’s a great little beach bar down the street called El Martinis which we ate at almost every night, amazing food, great people and walking distance which is nice so you can have a few cocktails with no worries. I will absolutely be staying here again on my next trip down! Thank you so much Rick and JR for sharing this little paradise with us. Karri from British Columbia Canada
