The Barn @ Kingston Grange Scenic Countryside Retreat
The Barn is set in the heart of the Scottish countryside and offers a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Conveniently situated a short drive from Glasgow and Prestwick airports, with excellent transport links into the city of Glasgow and beyond. It is worth noting, that this property is also ideally placed for guests who wish to visit Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, the Ayrshire coast, or embark on the NC500.
The Barn is accessed via a single track country lane and guests will find themselves unwinding straight away.
Upon arrival, guests benefit from parking for up to 3 cars.
The property has its own private entrance, to the left of the main house. Inside, there is an open plan living room that has been decorated to a high standard, striking the balance between modern and traditional. Guests will feel at home straight away. The lower level kitchen, separated by a few short steps and a glass balustrade, is bright and spacious and includes everything you might need, including dining space for 6, and all the utensils and crockery ensuring a relaxed stay.
The barn has 2 bright spacious bedrooms, both fully furnished, the master has a double bed and small single sofa bed suitable for a child, the mezzanine a super king bed and single sofa bed, each accessed by stairs at either side of the open plan living area. There is also a travel cot available.
Off the living room, you will find a modern shower room and WC.
The property is heated with a wood burner which will keep guests very cosy through the year. Wood for the burner will be provided for the duration of guests stay, courtesy of the host.
The garden is quite simply outstanding, professionally landscaped and lovingly maintained. Not to mention completely private. It can be accessed through large bifold doors in the main living area creating an idyllic inside/outside experience. There is a fire pit which can be used to cook, should you wish to use it there is an additional charge for wood. If you would prefer to cook over the charcoal BBQ please let us know and we will ensure itâs there for your stay.
Should guests wish to roam in our fields, they can do so freely, and there are also a number of scenic walks from the property along the pretty lanes.
The host has unrivalled local knowledge and can make recommendations on worthwhile travel spots for day trips and guests onward journeys.
