Tastefully and newly renovated villa. We really enjoyed our stay here and spent plenty of time in the villa enjoying the pool and lounging around the many sunbeds and sitting areas around. Whether you prefer to have a tan, or hide in the shade and enjoy the cool village breeze, you have plenty of options!
The views were great and we watched the sunset over the mountains every evening while we enjoyed a bbq dinner in the lovely outdoor areas. The kitchen is fully furnished and well equipped, and the kind and generous owner, Mr Nektarios, prepared a large basket of goodies and a well stocked fridge for us on arrival. He even gifted my son a set of table tennis racquets after finding out he loved playing the game.
The location is great too - 5 mins away from Perama with a couple of large supermarkets, 2 very nice butchers, cafes and tarvenas, and a medical centre. 25mins away from Rethymno old town, 1 hour away from the south beaches, 45mins away from Heraklion and <20mins away from olive farms, honey farms, melidoni cave etc.
Honestly it was such a great villa and we really enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend to everyone to book this place!
Notable mention that there was also a water filter for an unlimited supply of potable water which was amazing. We stayed in 3 villas, and this was the only place that had this and it was great not having to keep buying bottled water.
