Traditional great room (pirtti): bedding, living, dinig, kitchen areas without separating doors. Separate vestibule, WC, dressing room, shower room, and sauna. Glazed porch. Total footprint area 60m2.

Several different bedding options/ combinations. E.g. Dbl bed 140x200cm, sofa beds 90x180 & 80x200 cm. Crib/cot. Extra mattresses. (Mention your bedding preferences in the initial message! So everything will be assembled when you arrive.)

Electrical heating and cooling in the great room. Heating in bath/vestibule areas.

Traditional wood burning fireplaces: sauna stove, and "leivinuuni" in the great room; firewood provided. Large private garden 2000m2, with natural slope for sledge sliding in winter. Maybe rolling in snow after sauna?

Natural winter darkness, with minimal artificial outdoor lights, allows visual of stars - and occasionally the Northern Lights (Aurea Borealis).

In June-July, it never gets dark, you can read book indoors without artificial light on, (if you don't pull the blinds over windows).

Access to private living area with outdoor fireplace at Oulujoki river shore (shared with the host family).

Nearest groceries store 5km, Oulu city 20km. Decent bus connections from/to Oulu and Muhos (railway stations) during weekdays in August-May. A couple of runs on weekends and June-July.

I will welcome you in person, as I live close by. I am happy to help anytime, e.g. with the sauna stove, but will definetly give you all privacy you wish, during the stay.

Please give me a hint if you assume to arrive very early/ noonish/ midnightish, in the initial message (of course I will be open for changes, though)!
