For a peaceful Welsh trip where the sea is never far away, stay at this stylish townhouse in the charming village of Mumbles. Youâll find everything you need in the immediate area, with a pub, shop and beach within 200 metres, along with many local attractions including Mumblesâ 12th-century castle (300 metres) and Victorian pier (1 mile). Further afield, the fantastic beaches and wild spots of the Gower Peninsula awaits, with gems like Three Cliffs Bay (7 miles) within easy reach. With space for seven guests and one dog welcome, this is a wonderful option for a larger family or group of friends.
Inside this elegant holiday, where considerable care and attention has gone into every aspect of the decoration. From the meticulously chosen artwork to the tasteful printed curtains and cushions, everything has been added with aesthetics and comfort in mind. The light-filled lounge is wonderful for unwinding with fellow guests, with its plush seating and Smart TV. Cook up family meals in the open-plan kitchen, which flows seamlessly to a dining area featuring patio doors that open out to the garden and patio. This outdoor area is fantastic for sipping morning coffee or enjoying evening drinks in fine weather. All four bedrooms are on the first and second floors, with the king-size at the top offering stunning bay views.
Nearby, take a treat-filled picnic to the local nature reserve (0.5 miles), which hugs the shoreline opening up stunning sea views (150 metres). Youâll find an abundance of excellent beaches nearby, such as Langland Bay (1 mile) which is popular for surfing, and Pobbles (6 miles). A little further away, enjoy a classic Gower experience at Rhossili Bay Beach (16 miles) and perhaps walk over the iconic Worms Head Causeway â tide permitting!).
