Saukonpiilo - traditional cottage with modern twist

Saukonpiilo is located in the Pyhätunturi tourist area. Pyhätunturi is a pleasant small tourist destination with lots to see and do all year round.
Rovaniemi is located about a 1.5-hour drive away, where there are many attractions and things to do.
The nearby Pyhä-Luosto National Park with its impressive landscapes and natural attractions is worth seeing. Shops, restaurants and the Naava Nature Center are located 1km away. You can rent equipment and buy a lift ticket at the Pyhä Ski Center. In the summer, a scenic lift is in operation. For the bravest, there is also rock climbing and ziplining at Tajukangas. The impressive concerts held at Aittakuru are unforgettable. The public beach is located on the shores of Lake Pyhäjärvi.

Downstairs is a large space with a living area, small kitchen and fireplace. Downstairs is also a separate, small bedroom with a 90cm wide bed.
Upstairs is a spacious area with a double bed (160cm) and an 80cm wide bed. Upstairs is a sofa where you can watch TV.
A baby travel cot is available on request for a separate fee.
The cottage has a bathroom and a sauna renovated in May 2022.
There are drying and cleaning cabinets in the hallway.
The cottage is equipped with, among other things, an electric sauna, an air-source heat pump, a dishwasher, a washing machine and detergents, two televisions, Google Chromecast, wifi.
The cottage has a gas grill for summer use. In addition, there is a campfire site in the yard.
