This beautifully decorated two bedroomed cottage, a charming and cosy holiday home tucked away in the peaceful village of Melsonby, is the former church caretaker’s cottage dating back to the 1850’s and is the perfect base for exploring the area with literally hundreds of walking routes in the area from the Coast to Coast to a gentle stroll along the River Swale there is something for all abilities.

Inside, the property is warm and inviting. The comfortable living room is ideal for relaxing evenings, complete with a smart TV and an electric wood-burning-style stove. The fully equipped kitchen/diner features a breakfast area, offering all you need for enjoying home-cooked meals during your stay. From the kitchen, a stable door leads to a quaint rear yard with garden furniture, a lovely spot to sit out with a morning coffee or enjoy a peaceful evening. Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts a generous king-size bed, while the second bedroom offers a single bed, making the property perfect for couples, small families or solo travellers.
