Evansford has three bedrooms: one king-size with a roll-top, claw-foot bath, another king-size, and a ground-floor twin. Downstairs, there is a bathroom with a freestanding bath and walk-in shower and a shower room. The property includes a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Amenities include electric heating, an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, slimline dishwasher, kettle, and toaster. It also has a Smart TV and WiFi. Fuel, power, a starter pack for the woodburning stove, bed linen and towels are all included. A travel cot, highchair, and stairgate are available. Roadside parking and a free nearby public car park with [chargeable] EV charging are available. The enclosed rear garden has a lawn and furniture. This attractive village has a lovely neat village green, specialist shops, charming tea rooms and superior granite cottages, all adding to its genteel ambience. The River Dee flows through Ballater and is well renowned for its salmon fishing during the fishing season. Royal Deeside is so-called because of its connection to the Royal Family, who have frequently visited the town since the time of Queen Victoria. There is excellent walking all around the area, as well as outdoor activities such as cycling, golf, skiing or wildlife excursions. The popular centres of Grantown-on-Spey and Aviemore are within easy reach, as is the city of Aberdeen.
