This cottage is located in nature reserve the Voornse Duinen at the end of a cycle path (accessible by cars) and 1.5 km from the sea. The house has a very large garden and unobstructed views to the meadow behind. The central living room features a wood stove and open kitchen. The two master bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms, are also on the ground floor. The first floor is for the children. There is a custom-made loft bed and an extra bed. A cozy hideout in autumn and winter. Light the wood burning stove after a walk through the dunes. Outdoor in spring and summer. Reading a book in the hammock, browsing the internet through a high speed optical fiber connection, while children play in the large garden after a nice day on the beach. Very few neighbours :-). Just dunes, woodland and meadows for walking or cycling. We are readily available through Whatsapp, email or phone. Dogs are welcome. No other pets allowed. The owner is allergic to cats (sorry).
A holiday home where everyone will immediately feel at home. The homely appearance is a mix of modern design and coziness. The house is located in the front section of the popular North Sea Park, but due to its unique location, it offers a lot of pea

We are a family of 4. Son and daughter in high school. Parents can be described as Anglophiles. She enjoys hosting and he doesnt mind getting the tools out.
An uncle of ours used to be the head caretaker of Nature Reserve Voornes Duin (Voorne's Dune). As kids (1970-1990) we loved to stay over at his house in the dunes of Oostvoorne and go on adventures. In 2014 through a familiy friend we had the opportunity to acquire a dune cottage ourselves while we were living overseas. It served as our summer residence. Back in Holland we started to rent out our cottage so more people can enjoy it.
The Netherlands is one of the most densly populated countries in the world. So being able to live in nature while being only half an hour away from Rotterdam and 75 min from Amsterdam is absolutely unique.
