All Three Cottages at Lough Sillan - Adults only, dog-friendly, hot tub & sauna
Bring everyone together at Lough Sillan House with an exclusive-use stay across all three cottages, set within a peaceful lakeside setting in the centre of Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. Perfect for a healthy hen, a relaxed reunion, a birthday celebration or simply time away with friends and family, this is a place to slow down, reconnect and enjoy each other’s company in a beautiful natural setting.
The three cottages – Copper Cove, Linden Lodge and Little Gem – are set within a sunny private courtyard and together sleep 6–8 guests. Each has its own character and charm, combining thoughtful restoration with warmth, comfort and a sense of history. Original features, natural materials and carefully considered design choices create spaces that feel both relaxed and quietly distinctive.
Copper Cove offers a cosy open-plan retreat for two, with original stonework and a wood-burning stove adding to its warmth and atmosphere. Linden Lodge, a restored former stable, provides a more spacious open-plan layout for 2–4 guests and welcomes dogs, making it ideal for couples, friends or small groups travelling together. Little Gem is a romantic stone cottage for two, full of character, with coloured leaded glass sourced from 200-year-old panes influencing its interior design and creating a soft, ever-changing light throughout the day. Each cottage also features a traditional half door, a simple historic detail that adds to their charm and sense of place.
When all three cottages are booked together, your group enjoys exclusive use of Lough Sillan Lakeside Spa during spa opening times. The hot tub and sauna are set in an elevated natural setting overlooking the lake, offering a calm and restorative experience, whether you are starting the day slowly or unwinding together in the evening.
The setting is a large part of what makes the stay so special. Set on an elevated site above Lough Sillan, the property enjoys panoramic lake views, with the grounds sloping gently down to the shoreline and water at the same level. Guests have access to 9.5 acres of gardens and grounds, with lakeshore walks, quiet seating areas and plenty of space to relax and unwind. Kayaks are available for exploring the lake, while the surrounding landscape offers a sense of openness, calm and connection with nature.
The covered outdoor kitchen, set within the original forge building, is at the heart of the shared experience. This sociable, well-equipped space is designed for relaxed cooking, dining and gathering, with a dining table, seating and a more informal sofa area. It is a place for long, easy meals, morning coffee, evening drinks and time spent together.
Despite its peaceful rural setting, Lough Sillan House is conveniently located within 10–15 minutes of nearby towns, where you’ll find shops, cafés and everyday essentials. Several excellent golf courses are also nearby, with 5 within 30 minutes and a further 2 within 45 minutes, making it an ideal base for a golfing break.
Each cottage includes a complimentary bottle of Prosecco – or Nosecco if preferred – along with a thoughtfully prepared welcome pack of breakfast essentials, drinks and a few treats. Throughout your stay, you’ll experience warm hospitality from hosts Sabina and David, along with thoughtful touches that make everything feel easy, relaxed and quietly special.
Above all, an exclusive stay at Lough Sillan House is about the atmosphere – peaceful, welcoming and unhurried. It is a place to gather, celebrate and spend time together, while still having the space and privacy of three separate cottages, making it a truly memorable setting for any occasion.

Qui vous reçoit ?
Vous êtes reçu par David Brennan
We are Sabina and David, and we feel incredibly fortunate to call Lough Sillan House home. Since moving here, we have lovingly restored the old stone cottages and created a peaceful place where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature and enjoy the beauty of the lake, gardens and spa. We did much of the restoration work ourselves, and every cottage has been carefully designed with comfort, character and a real sense of place in mind.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We chose this area because of its extraordinary natural beauty and sense of calm. Lough Sillan House sits on the shores of the lake, surrounded by 9.5 acres of gardens and grounds, yet it is still just over an hour from Dublin and Belfast airports. It offers the rare combination of feeling beautifully tucked away while still being easy to reach.
