Détendez-vous dans une cabane en rondins nichée sur la ferme Lingael de 54 acres dans les montagnes de la Caroline du Nord. Profitez du paysage, faites de la randonnée ou essayez-vous à la pêche à Helton Creek avec la meilleure pêche à la truite en Caroline du Nord.

Venez profiter de l'air de la montagne dans cette cabane en rondins d'une chambre avec mezzanine. La cabine est équipée d'une chambre avec un lit queen, une mezzanine avec 2 lits doubles supplémentaires, une cuisine complète et une salle de bain complète. Détendez-vous sur le pont dans l'une des nombreuses chaises berçantes ou prenez un bain dans le bain à remous. Explorez la superficie de la ferme, pêchez dans Helton Creek ou bravez l'eau froide du ruisseau pour vous baigner dans le pittoresque trou de baignade.

Cette cabine peut accueillir confortablement 6 personnes.

Le linge de maison, les produits en papier et le bois de chauffage sont fournis. La cuisine a les bases pour cuisiner et manger.

Had a great time. Location of property and views are fantastic. Cabin was well laid out and comfortable. Wood stove was warm and inviting. Kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for routine cooking and a bit more. Hostess was very responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying again in the future. Tyvm

Amazing stay

My partner and i stayed for a week, we loved the cabin and its views. The owner was even kind enough to work with our schedule to make check in easier. Would highly recommended this cabin.

relaxing hideaway

We found the cabin to be enjoyable. The mission of our trip was to trout fish, which we did...however we traveled to a different creek that we had fished before. The Grassy creek that we were on is a delayed harvest, so we could not keep anything from it. It was a great place to come back to to enjoy a quiet evening!

Great place to stay

Wonderful family friendly cabin in a great location. Had no problem catching a few trout in the creek and stargazing at night. We had a great time cooking smores in the firepit and exploring some of the property. Everyone we saw was very friendly. My only complaint is the other cabin on the property. It is extremely close and the listing doesn't really mention it. It wasn't being rented during our stay, so it wasn't an issue, but I could see how some people might not be a fan of it. Overall, my family really enjoyed our trip and would definitely stay again.

The cabin is clean and neat. April responded promptly even when contacted late at night. Her directions to the property are crucial, google maps will not bring you the right place. Would definitely recommend for a cozy get away in the mountains.

Experience

The property was nice, smaller groundwise than I thought. The driveway is very steep, you will need to drive to the creek. We could not find the swimming hole, or trails to walk on. The cabin was very nice and welcoming, but the circuit breakers kept going off. However, it was a very quiet and relaxing weekend, just what we wanted. I would definitely stay there again.

Highland paradise

Absolutely gorgeous property nestled in the woods. Little tricky to find in the dark but well worth the adventure. Definitely print the instructions provided by April. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a week. The hot tub and wood burning stove make for a VERY relaxing stay. Would definitely book again. Thanks for a wonderful week!!

property needed upgrading .as far as electrical problems ,no receptacles in bathroom . circuit breaker for wifi kept tripping . water pressure in shower was almost non- existant .

Hidden gem in the mountainside

Couldn’t have asked for a better stay in the mountains. Close enough to different attractions but remote enough for privacy. Really enjoyed our stay at Harvest Moon.

Explanation to get into the property was confusing and could not get key code to work, had difficult

We had a good time playing games with family, Weather was Blizzard conditions first few days and got so cold negative 4 lost power for few hours and pipes froze so we were without water for 3 and half days. made it a little difficult with cooking and flushing toliets. Lets just say it will be Christmas my kids will never forget.

Good place needs a little

The cabin is in a great location with a bit of a drive, not bad but steep. Nice cabin with bath and good layout. We enjoyed the proximity to Grayson Highlands, West Jefferson and Boone.. Cute cabin with true mountains feel. Washer and dryer always a nice to have even though we didn’t require it. We thought it was a nice place in need of a little attention. Not very bright inside but light bulbs out everywhere including the area at the approach steps. Way too much chemicals in the hot tub. All simple fixes for a great little cabin. We would stay there again and hope the little things are addressed. Sticking doors were also hard to open.

Nice Escape

Great property for an escape to nature. Close to horseback riding and Grayson Highland State Park and the wild ponies. The restaurants in town, mentioned by the host, were great. Enjoyed utilizing my 4wd to get up to the house just because it was fun. Now, know when one up there says close to things, that means everything is about a 25 minute drive. Also, I knew from a previous review that the swimming hole creek was not right outside the door; it is back down at the end of the fun driveway up. I tried my luck at fishing and it was a beautiful location. Daughter enjoyed exploring the creek and my wife enjoyed the beauty. I simply loaded a chair and fishing gear in the truck and parked at the bottom by the creek. Front porch with rocking chairs and Hot Tub was hard to leave!

Escape from the hustle

I loved the ride up to the cabin. The views and winding roads are a sight to behold. The driveway up to the cabin is a rollercoaster ride but with a 4x4 it's not a issue. The cabin itself is comfortable and well taken care of. I was surprised at how good the Internet connection is despite being way out in the woods. I was fortunate to have the space to myself up until the last morning before I departed. Overall I loved my time here and will return.

A Good Mountain Retreat

Overall, I had a lovely time here-just what we needed to start off 2022; relaxed and refreshed, filled with that good ol’ mountain air! This cabin was great! Very clean (minus a few dishes here and there, but nbd-point is there we’re dishes and silverware I didn’t have to bring with me), upstairs beds were comfortable (as were the sofas), firewood was provided to keep warm, and lots of room for the dogs to get their energy out and smell ALL the new smells! Good, easy hiking if you go UP the hill-it levels off a little from the direct incline of the driveway. Pros: open concept, all working appliances (oven/stove, microwave, propane grill with cover, coffee maker, fridge, etc.), and people have clearly left some non-perishable items behind for the next guests to use, such as olive oil, random spices, salt/pepper, so you don’t have to bring or buy most basics as they’re already there. Hot tub was warm and relaxing, not chemically harsh or off putting at all, but smelled of chlorine(if I don’t smell chlorine, I’m not getting in a strange hot tub lol). We didn’t touch any of the kid stuff, but there’s a whole kid corner with assorted toys and things in the loft area, which I’m assuming is great for families with young kids. Nice porch views, etc. Cons: that driveway leading up to the cabins is NO JOKE. We ended up leaving a day earlier than expected as neither my husband nor myself wanted to downhill slalom in our SUV back to the main roads in the rain. She isn’t kidding when she says you need 4WD/AWD. I couldn’t imagine doing that as a commute or on any regular type basis. We left to get groceries one time and then stayed put until we left, as you should do when escaping to the mountains for a weekend. Also, the stream pictured is along the main road, not right outside or even a quick walk away as the ad suggests-I had no desire to fish, so it had no effect on me, but that may be important to know as you’re considering booking. That being said, traversing the area being our biggest and only con, we really enjoyed ourselves and would 100% go back (pending a paved/less Jeep commercial-type driveway :)

So relaxing!

We stayed for a few days after all the Christmas bustle. My boyfriend, dogs, and I had a great time being away from busy life and enjoyed hiking and visiting downtown West Jefferson! We look forward to returning!
