Spacious 5 Bedroom Holiday Let, Perfect For Family Reunions and gatherings

A beautifully converted chapel with great 5 star reviews. Perfect for family gatherings, reunions and discerning groups. Situated in an area great for walking, cycling and off-road biking. Kids love it here; it's an adventure! Our chapel is close to beautiful woodland and hillsides packed with stunning scenery. Capel Cartref is family and pet friendly with an enclosed garden laid to grass accompanied by two large picnic tables, a children's picnic table and a large charcoal BBQ. The back door leads out onto a veranda that overlooks the garden and river; a lovely place to sit drink morning coffee or afternoon tea. Our front door has wheelchair access, as do all of the ground floor doorways. We have two double bedrooms and an accessible wet room on the ground floor plus a fully equipped kitchen and a large TV Room plus a reading area. As well as 5 bedrooms, there are 3 good sized bath/shower rooms which means less queuing for the loo!

On the 1st floor, the gallery has a comfy sofa and chair plus shelves full of bookings. Through the door you will arrive at 3 bedrooms; the main one leads out onto the balcony that has comfy seating for a quiet relax. The main bathroom is on the 1st floor and the main bedroom is en-suite with 1000mm quadrant shower. Check out reviews on the various sites, there is much to read and see

Had a wonderful time catching up with family. We had 10 adults in the property quite comfortably. We spent a lot of time in the garden. It felt very private and far enough away from neighbours for us not to worry about 10 chatty adults catching up. Host was very helpful with lots of information.Thank you

Sympathetically restored quirky chapel in a perfect location. Really well stocked kitchen. Very comfortable beds with plenty of storage in the bedrooms and lots of electric sockets everywhere.The chapel was spotlessly clean throughout.

The host Marnie could not have been more welcoming or helpful catering to our individual needs. The property was as described with a combined wow as each guest arrived. Entry was easy and the venue was very welcoming upon arrival. Each bedroom was individual and excellently appointed. The kitchen caters for a huge number of people meaning there is plenty of cups glass plates and cutlery so no mad panics between meal. Although the weather was autumnal we appreciated the views of the garden and of the trees along the river. There is plenty of space for visitors to spread out or gather together. It has just the right touch between homely and holiday house meaning you instantly felt at home and relaxed.

I stayed at the Chapel with my 3 grown up sons, their partners, my 3 years old granddaughter and my little dog. We came to visit friends that live in the village and the Chapel was in the perfect position. It is a lovely building that has everything you need, the master bedroom has the added bonus of the balcony to have your tea or wine on which was lovely. We loved all the wood and the amazing staircase. The only bad thing was the organ not working because my granddaughter wanted to play it but at the same time that may have been a blessing!! Thank you Marnie for sharing your amazing property.

We had a great stay in this unique property. On entering our breathe was taken away by the beautiful mezzanine and amazing Christmas tree!. The house was clean and warm and very welcoming.We were 9 adults and the house was great for us. Bedrooms were spacious, with enough bathrooms between us,. Lounge area was great and we spent time together playing games and watching films here. The kitchen table was a tight squeeze for 9, but we managed, and if you didn't want to sit together there was additional space at the kitchen breakfast bar and another table seating 4 in the lounge area. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of plates and dishes and cutlery which was appreciated. There were also plenty of sundries like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, kitchen and toilet rolls too.We stayed in winter so didn't use the garden, but it looked lovely and the balcony areas would be great in Summer with the sound of the river at the back of the house.There was ample parking for 4 cars with no issues.The host was excellent, with great communication prior to and during our stay.I would definitely recommend this property.
