The property is decorated in cool, calming tones to help you truly relax, plus, the pretty garden provides a place to soak in the panoramic views of the surrounding area whilst the sun is shining. Active adventurers will love the array of walking routes, from the serene setting along the River Tamar to the myth and legend of Dartmoor National Park. With a neutral colour palette and two sumptuous sofas, the living room invites you to kick back and unwind, be it with a good book in hand, or over a board game on the coffee table. Next door, the pastel-hued kitchen is sure to get your creative juices flowing at mealtimes, with a rustic style and beautiful beams across the ceiling. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be eaten in the charming conservatory where far-reaching views of the Tamar Estuary can be seen out of all the windows as you sit up at the wooden table. Take the staircase up to the first floor and you’ll find two bright bedrooms sharing the use of the characterful bathroom which features both a roll-top bath and a walk-in shower. Bedroom one is furnished with a comfortable double bed, whilst bedroom two is a tasteful twin, perfect for children. Step outside and you’ll be in awe at the scenery, with a lush green lawn, mature flowerbeds and a private decked area where you can sip your morning coffee and enjoy the sounds of nature. With the vast moorland of Dartmoor (7 miles) to explore, you’ll find a whole host of activities, from wild swimming and the mysterious walk in Wistman’s Woods (16 miles), to stand-up paddleboarding and waterfall watching. For a taste of life in the Ocean City, visit Plymouth (14 miles) for a swim at the Lido, to find an array of eateries and to explore the Hoe. Alternatively, make for the coast and spend a day on the beach of Whitsand Bay (16 miles) to delve into rock pools to take a dip in the clear blue waters.
