Downhill Beachhouse Exclusive Use

Downhill Beachhouse is a Victorian Villa on the Downhill Beach by the Mussenden Temple Estate. We are a self-catering guesthouse with 7 bedrooms + guest kitchen, living, dining room. Top floor has 2 ensuite family rooms with a double bed and up to 3 singles, Middle level (=3 rooms) has two ensuite doubles and one ensuite family room sleeping up to 4 people. Mezzanine level has an ensuite family room sleeping up to four people, Ground floor has an en-suite twin room which is wheelchair accessible if needed.
The space:
The Beachhouse is a restored Victorian villa fronting onto Ireland's longest beach. The interior is casually elegant and artistic. Historical features such as original working fireplaces, polished wood floors, and sash windows give the house it's charming character. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering, the living room has toys and games for young guests, and there are always buckets, spades, & body boards to help you enjoy the beach.
Guest access
Guests have exclusive use of the house and front garden. Facilities include well equipped kitchen, utilities and laundry, a comfortable lounge/living room, dining room, and reading nook overlooking the sea, 7 bedrooms. There is one private parking spot per room. The front garden and picnic area are for guest use. Wifi access is free, bed linen and towels are included.
Other things to note
Private surf lessons, private art & pottery lessons, and horse riding are all offered through local providers.
