Papillon holiday cottage is one of 6 family friendly gites at the La Grange du Moulin child friendly gites property sharing a heated swimming pool and enclosed play garden. Chat to likeminded parents while your children make new friends and no need to worry about disapproving looks when your toddler has a tantrum - we've all been there!

Papillon gite sleeps six in three bedrooms, ideally 2 adults and up to 4 children. The master bedroom has a king sized bed (160x200), there is a small childrens room with bunk beds and a second childrens room with childrens single bed plus a rollaway bed . The bathroom has a full bath with shower attachment over the bath, sink and loo. A baby bath can be provided and there is a non slip mat too.

The La Grange du Moulin child friendly gites property located in SW France , welcomes families. The family friendly property has two safely enclosed heated swimming pools, one specifically for toddlers. There's a large enclosed play garden filled with toys and we hold children and toddler activities each week such as pottery and fabric painting and even scuba diving!

Downstairs is open plan with living and dining areas. For those who enjoy cooking up local French dishes such as moules in cream sauce - it has a very spacious kitchen area with lots of work space and cupboards for storing all those goodies purchased at the French market.

This French gite has a kitchen is equipped with 4 ring gas hob, work top electric oven /grill, sink, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher and all the basic pots, pans, crockery and cutlery needed for a comfortable self catering family holiday. There are also childrens plastic plates, bowls etc and a hand blender for purees.

There is a communal laundry room with several washing machines and a dryer. Free of charge. Every cottage has it's own ironing board, drying rack and iron. There is a rotary dryer in the garden too.

The low dark ceilings with ancient exposed central oak beam and the exposed stone walls, create a lovely dark, cool escape from the heat of the summer.

Cot, high chair, booster seat, change mat, toys and books, stair barriers, potty and toilet trainer seat , plastic crockery and cutlery, toddler step an hand blender are standard items in all the cottages at La Grange du Moulin

Parent points : The straight wooden staircase is open tread and is steeper than what you may be used to at home but has a stair barrier top and bottom. There is a stone step down to the doorway which you should warn your toddlers about. You have a good view of the garden from this gite.

There is a spacious patio area front and rear with a bbq at the back with a drinks table and two chairs and garden furniture at the front to seat 6 with a large parasol.

Papillon family holiday cottage has a terrace front and back. Equipped with garden tables and chairs, parasol and bbq - essential for a self catering holiday in rural France. Your children can run freely in and out to the communal play garden, filled with toys, swings, slide, trampoline, sandpit and even a pirate ship!

The pool area is completely enclosed, has a child safety latch on the gate and also has an alarm to comply with French safety regulations. Once the children are in bed you can enjoy a glass of wine and watch the night sky .

Our family holiday properties are located in the heart of the French countryside with lovely views all around. Perfect for a relaxing child friendly family holiday.

Centrally located in the Charente Maritime department of SW France, we are an easy drive to hundreds of km of sandy beaches.

 The Charente Maritime is also easy to get to with airports in la Rochelle, Bordeaux, Nantes, Poitiers and Limoges all accessible. The nearest port to the Charente Maritime is the French port of St Malo

There is NO SMOKING or Vaping on site at all - you must leave the property to smoke, you cannot smoke on your rear or front terraces, by the pool or anywhere in the enclosed garden. We ask that you walk to the refuse and parking area if you wish to smoke, this is a child friendly property and for the comfort of all our guests smoking is strictly forbidden.
There is no television
There is NO MUSIC or radio allowed to be heard outside your gite. You should use headphones
NO PETS allowed
