Gite La Châtaigne at Domaine de La Bertrandie - with Swimming Pool and Hot Tub

At Domaine de La Bertrandie, our gorgeous La Châtaigne Gite is available for group holidays in the south of France and can accommodate up to twelve guests but is equally comfortable for fewer guests for those looking to have more space.

Your stay includes use of the swimming pool, hot tub, garden games, grounds and gardens.

Once one of the barns on the estate, our beautiful gite has been recently renovated and is now ready to welcome friends and families.

The gite is located in the grounds of the domaine and has its own private shaded terrace and the rental includes the use of the estate's pool and hot tub.

There are three main bedrooms plus one extra landing space which has an additional double sofa bed. There is also a single day bed in the living area, bringing the occupancy up to 12 guests in total. We can also provide additional cots for babies on request.

There is an extensive open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, dining space and comfortable lounge.

Ideal for between 6 and 12 guests.

All bookings include complete exclusivity, towels and linens, end of stay cleaning fee, swimming pool, hot tub, garden games and much more.

You will have access to all of the gite for your private use. The main house and the Grand Events Barn can be hired for an additional fee.

We will be contactable throughout your stay, however we will leave you in peace to enjoy your time on the estate.

Domaine de La Bertrandie is situated in the south of the gorgeous region of Aveyron, close to the border with Tarn and the beautiful southern cities of Toulouse, Montpellier and Carcassonne. It lies an hour south of the dramatic landscapes of the Dordogne and is also within reach of Les Cevennes, Grands Causses and Haut-Languedoc Regional Natural Parks to the south which feature outstanding rugged scenery with gorges, valleys, rivers, quaint stone villages and beautiful historic Châteaux at every turn.

It’s easy to get to Domaine de La Bertrandie and, despite its secluded location, has excellent transport links whether you are arriving by air, rail or road.

Domaine de La Bertrandie is located near the small village of La Fouillade, in Aveyron, close to the border with Tarn, in the region of Occitanie in southern France.

Set between the picturesque gorges of Aveyron and Viaur, La Fouillade offers shops and restaurants as well as excellent accommodation options for additional guests.

We recommend hiring a car for your stay to be able to explore the region. However, taxis are readily available for those not wishing to drive.

In the surrounding area, we are lucky to have boundlessly beautiful countryside, historic towns and castles and plenty of activities and things to do to keep you and your guests entertained throughout your stay.
