I enjoyed having my coffee on the patio, seeing and hearing the wonderful sound of the ocean! You will also see the evening sky in all its glory! Emmaâs place gives you that.
Family visit, reconnecting with the island. Blessed with Emma, the best host possible. A wonderful 2 bed, 2 bath (upstairs) unit, with a fully outfitted kitchen, living, and dining area on the main floor. Upstairs and downstairs porches provide for outdoors relaxation and dining. Perfect sunsets from the neighborhood beach. This was ideal for us, 2 from the US and 1 from Canada, meeting up with 2 from the UK in a 2nd unit. We enjoyed 11 gorgeous days in Negril and Jamaica. Checking off a few "must dos" - rafting on the Martha Brae, Rose Hall tour (learning about Annie Palmer), Black River Safari, YS Falls, and Appleton tour (a must do for any rum-lover). Interspersed with "rest days", liming on Negril's exceptional beach and waters.Emma made our stay so easy and pleasurable - a big THANK YOU!!Eating, ya mon. Miss Lily's (at Skylark - breakfast, lunch, and dinner), Boardwalk (between Sandals and Azul, Mr Garfield's rum punch), Ivan's (great food and sunset), Rockhouse (great food and sunset - related to Skylark), and Rick's (drinks, food, sunset, and cliff diving).
We had a wonderful stay at Emma's place. The condo is wonderfully located a 2 minute walk to the beach. It is 2 floors with the common areas on the first floor and bedrooms on the second. Both floors have wonderful patios/balcony with a great views of the ocean. People are very friendly who stay in the area and the beach is great with options to swim or snorkel. There is also a island- Booby Cay- that is a short swim- if it is calm or kayak or boat ride to. Locals serve fresh lobster and beer- it is a must go to. Amazing views and food. Seven mile beach is just a 5- 10 minute walk away and you and walk or jog all the way down the beach. Amazing convenience to local restaurants and bars. Emma also has a great taxi driver, David, who is an excellent guide and great person and totally reliable. Emma was a great host and promptly responded to all of our questions. We would stay there again for sure!
