When you are on holiday you need a place to call home. Mountain View Apartment is a lovely 1-Bedroom apartment that has everything you need for your holiday in Kaprun. The living room has a pull-out sofa bed and dining table. You can relax on your private balcony, enjoying the panoramic views to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.

The kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, oven, full-size refrigerator and dishwasher -everything you require to prepare your culinary feasts. All you need to do is bring the food. But, if you don’t want to cook while you are on holiday, restaurants, vibrant bars, cafes and nightlife are a short walk from Mountain View Apartment. The village also has bakeries, shops, ski and bike rentals, banks and grocery stores.



Mountain View Apartment is the ideal location to explore all the magic Kaprun and Zell am See offers. There are adventures, all year long, waiting to be discovered. In summer, Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe are a nature lover’s paradise. Enjoy one of the many hiking and biking trails- and stop for lunch at one of the mountain Alms. Lake Zell is perfect for sailing, swimming and water sports. Only a short distance from Mountain View Apartment, you will discover the Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road.

In the winter, the Ski resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See provide the best pistes in Austria. The Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door for beginners. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 40 minutes by car.

Transport is easy- there is free parking for one car at Mountain View Apartment. A Bus stop and the free Ski Bus is only a few minutes walk from the apartment.

From the summit of Zell am See’s Schmittenhöhe Mountain, you will be amazed at the views down to glistening Lake Zell and up to thirty 3,000m mountains can be seen, including Kitzsteinhorn, Groβglockner and Groβvenediger of the Hohe Tauren Range and to the east the Steinernes Meer.

The Apartment is within walking distance of the new Kaprun Centre and MK Maiskogelbahn – where the gondola transports you up to the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
