Spend the evenings on the large wraparound balcony with 180 ° views of the mountains while you watch the sunset. Apartment Bergblick’s kitchen has all the amenities you need to whip up a meal– just bring your own food. Don’t feel like cooking while you are on holiday? Luckily, restaurants, vibrant bars, cafes and nightlife are all within walking distance of Apartment Bergblick. You’ll also find a bakery, shops, banks and grocery stores in the village.



Apartment Bergblick is the perfect place to base yourself to explore all the sights and adventures offered in the Kaprun/Zell am See region. With so much to do all year long- you will never be bored.

Spend your summer days exploring the amazing mountain vistas of Kitzsteinhorn, Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe. You can choose from one of the many hiking trails – from easy to full ascents – stopping for lunch at one of the many traditional mountain Alms. Or grab some wheels and reconnect with nature by biking through the countryside or the adventurous mountain trails.

The pristine Lake Zell is perfect for sailing, swimming and water sports. The Sigmund Thun-Gorge, Kaprun High Mountain Reservoirs, Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road are only a short journey from Apartment Bergblick.

In the winter, Apartment Bergblick will be your ‘Alpine home away from home’ where you can choose some of the best pistes in Austria. For beginners, the Lechnerberg slope is only 350m from your front door. The local resorts of Kitzsteinhorn (100% snow guarantee Oct- early summer), Schmittenhöhe and Familienberg Maiskogel offer over 138km of perfectly groomed pistes. In addition, the Ski Circus at Saalbach/Hinterglemm and the Höchkonig Ski resort at Maria Alm can be reached within 40 minutes by car.

Transport is easy- there is free parking for one car at Apartment Bergblick. Otherwise, a Bus stop and free Ski Bus is located steps from the apartment.

Kaprun sits in the valley of the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier, surrounded by mountains and lush valleys, and is part of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The park was established in 1981 and covers a landscape of high mountains, deep valleys and lakes more than 1800 km.
In Summer, Zell am See-Kaprun offer amazing summer activities- leisurely walks, hiking, biking, golfing and water sports- all with a backdrop of a breathtaking panorama.
In Kaprun, The Maiskogel and Kitzsteinhorn mountains, Sigmund Thun Klamm and The High Alpine Reservoirs provide breathtaking scenery and a multitude of different walks and hikes.
From the summit of Zell am See’s Schmittenhöhe Mountain, you will be amazed at the views down to glistening Lake Zell and up to thirty 3,000m mountains can be seen, including Kitzsteinhorn, Groβglockner and Groβvenediger of the Hohe Tauren Range and to the east the Steinernes Meer.
Krimml Waterfalls (Europe’s highest waterfall) and the High Alpine Grossglockner Mountain Road are only a short journey from Zell am See-Kaprun.
