Hello Audrey I never ever had any complaint like this before, so hereby my answer: * if you book the villa private, months before, and day of arrival you have an astma attack, and try to use this as a tool to cancel your booking, well, I am sorry to tell, but things like this you communicate before, so it is normal procedure the booking has to be paid. Communication was below standards, some of my messages got replied weeks later (I can send you the screenshots if wanted) * I didnt charge you the full amount (which was required in the cancellation rules. Read yourself: no refund for last minute cancellations). So in fact I donated you 1.500$ cause instead of the 3.000$ you owed us, I only charged 1.500$ (plus 125$ for 1 room 1 xtra day, and also this was halfprice cause standard rate for this room is 250$) * you booked the villa at the end of rainseason, so very logical things get moldy and humid (thats everywhere in Zanzibar). We repaint THE WHOLE VILLA AND ROOMS 2 times a year, and repainting is planned from 3rd till 6th of June again * you even didnt stay 1 night to enjoy the experience. We are in the business for 20 years (Planet Xancara in South Africa) and since a few years running Masai Mara Zanzibar.
