Profitez des magnifiques levers de soleil dans ce studio extrêmement privé avec sa propre entrée privée donnant sur l'océan. Il y a un lit California King et deux canapés-lits queen-size ainsi qu'une télévision avec une vaste sélection de DVD ainsi que Netflix, HBO et Hulu. Il y a aussi le WiFi.
Il y a une cuisine et une salle de bain bien approvisionnées ainsi qu'une véranda avec une vue fabuleuse. Inclus est l'utilisation de la piscine de 70 pieds et du pavillon avec barbecue et salle de bain supplémentaire. Le début de la piscine commence très peu profond et devient progressivement plus profond. Il est entouré de rochers naturels et d'une cascade avec trois ruisseaux à une extrémité. Nous sommes à 15-20 minutes au nord de Hilo Hawaii.

Beautiful big island country home

The property is surrounded by farms, is a little farm itself with many fruit trees. Bird song will wake you and frog chirps will put you to bed. There is a pool, however most of it is very deep (》8ft) so not suitable for very young children unless you bring your own flotation devices or will be within arms reach of your child who is learning to swim. The location itself is about 15 minutes outside Hilo, and is lovely, but there are no stores immediately nearby so if you plan on cooking or having dinner in a restaurant plan for extra time for driving. There were plenty of towels and blankets, shampoo etc for our party of 7 including 3 teenage girls,. It was very clean and had plenty of seating for our big group at the indoor table. Sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean at sunrise is not an experience not to be missed. PIt is truly spectacular. We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place if you are staying on the Hilo sode or going to Volcano National Park.

Always a retreat

We love the country setting with ocean and mountain views and the rural area allows for wonderful stargazing. It's close enough to Hilo and many wonderful sightseeing opportunities and the beautiful pool is an extra treat.

Couldn’t ask for a more relaxing property

This was our second stay at Roslyn’s property and, again, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The sunrises over the ocean were simply stunning. The unit is a short drive from Hilo and within an hour of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Lots to see and do, but the property is quiet and relaxing. Thanks Roslyn.

Magical Lanai

We had such a wonderful 12 night stay at Roslyn's Studio. We were doing a program nearby and could not have been happier. The deck was the best! We would see the sun rise every morning and the full moon over the ocean at night. We even could see whale spouts off in the distance. There is so much nice fresh air up there with all the windows open, glad it was January with all the cool air. Roslyn was really kind and communicative and we were lucky to have run into her and her dogs on several mornings. She even offered us some fruit from her trees and was really proactive with any requests. The kitchen is pretty minimal- no spices, salt/pepper, or oils and only bare bones pots and pans and no hot water kettle. But we totally made it work and it suited our needs for the long stay. Quiet, peaceful, private, comfortable. Really just a lovely place to stay.

Great Property

We stayed at the property for about a week and it was really beautiful! We enjoyed the view and gorgeous sunrise every morning and the beautiful porch! Rosalyn was very nice too. There are cows and sheep at nearby properties, which was pretty neat to see. It should be noted that pool hours are only from 12 noon to 5pm each day, which we were unaware of until we arrived. This made swimming difficult for our kids who wanted to wake up and jump in each morning. We also had trouble getting back from our daily excursions in time to have time to swim. You may not jump from the edges of the pool, which was hard for the kids. The pool is shared with Rosalyn. The pool is closed all day on Friday for cleaning. Due to the weather and closeness to the ocean the pool has a lot of algae. I believe she is going to attempt a new pool vacuum soon? It is a very unique pool!

We had a great stay

House is like a studio apartment. 1 king bed and 2 sofa beds. Sofa bed wasn’t the best but wasn’t the worst. Kitchen comes with the basics pot and pans and stuff like that. Place could use a small dresser, There is a closet there. There are geckos. Got to see some cows come over by the fence on the neighbors side. No ac but opening all the windows and turning on the fan keeps it pretty cool. Roslyn was very friendly. Pros:- it has a swimming pool part of it is shallow and deep, also shower and bathroom by the pool -Stayed upstairs in a mother in law type house away from the main house -the view of the ocean is great from up on the hill - love that there aren’t a ton of neighbors and your on 5 acres property - I like that we were only 15 minutes away from Hilo - love the big deck to look out at the ocean -there’s a ton of dvds to watch and there’s a cabinet thing with games in it Cons: - wish there was a washer and dryer -No wifi when we stayed but the new router should be there now. -wish there was a some curtains, the sun in the morning gets bright.

Pros: A short drive away from downtown Hilo Secluded - Good space between neighbors Great view of the ocean Private pool Home owner was close by in case was needed Cons: No curtains/blinds on the windows Home owner residence was too close given the lack of privacy Pool area seemed a bit rundown - not the pool itself but the patio furniture

A beautiful relaxing place

We had a wonderful time here!! The property was a beautiful park like resort!! All was perfectly maintained, cleaned , and welcoming!! We slept wonderfully here and enjoyed the peace and quiet! And the gentle rain of Hilo ! Roslyn was a very pleasant host!! She was attentive to our needs but respected our privacy!! We was very welcoming and friendly to our Hilo family!! We had a wonderful time here!!

Hawaiian Paradise

We absolutely loved our time at this adorable place in Pepeekeo. It is very clean and Roslyn even supplies coffee. Not too far from town but far enough to give some peace and quiet. Everything was just as Roslyn said and Roslyn was wonderful and really made us feel at home. The best part were the beautiful sunrises! We hope to come back!

Beautiful ocean view and quiet location

We loved our stay at the rental. The views were spectacular. Everything was clean and comfortable. Roslyn was a great host; we enjoyed talking with her very much, but she definitely maintained her distance. We were only able to get to the pool one afternoon because of the rainy weather, but what a place to spend a couple of hours! Close to Hilo, Akaka Falls, and the Hawaii Tropical Bioreserve and Garden. Beautiful deck with dynamite view, but beware! Can be very slippery after a rain. Thanks Roslyn for providing such a great place to call home for a few days!

Convenient country place North of Hilo

Great place, well equipped. Too cold for us to use the pool but it looks like it would be fun in warmer weather. Owner lives adjacent and is friendly without being at all intrusive. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful View and Studio

There is beautiful wood throughout this Upstairs Studio that gives a natural feel whether inside or on the lanai. The view is amazing and the property is beautiful. You can see the top of Mauna Kea, and a wide expanse of the ocean view. The pool was refreshing and is completely decorated with polished pebbles. Roslyn is a friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable host.

Wonderful home

We loved this spacious breezy upstairs studio located in a quiet area. The craftsmanship of the home and large porch is beautiful as is the lovely rural location. The owner is a knowledgeable longtime Hawaii resident and is nearby and helpful.

Great out of the way, with ocean view and personal pool, accommodations

The accommodations are exactly as listed. Beautiful location and owner is very kind. Only suggestions I would make to the owner would be to add a box fan, that could be left in the closet when not in use, to circulate the air and bring some air in from outside. It was pretty warm inside each of the days we were there in October. Also, I would suggest hanging drapes on the sliding door that can be opened and shut. The early morning sun comes straight into where you are sleeping and currently no way to keep it out. The location and place was great though, so despite these two things I very much recommend.
