FULLY REFURBISHED FOR 2023

This premium lodge is dog-friendly and sleeps up to 4 adults in spacious rooms with great comfort.
There is a modern open plan living/dining lounge area with double patio doors leading to the deck and outside area.
2 bedrooms - one with comfortable super-king and one with 2 single beds
One shower room to share.

The location is stunning with open views over the Tummel Valley, to Ben-y-Vrackie (Pitlochry's landmark mountain) and towards Craigower and Pitlochry golf course in the distance.
It is so quiet and you'll really connect with nature during your stay. There are so many beautiful walks nearby - from a round trip low level walk try Loch Faskally, or for views try Craigower or Ben-y-Vrackie, Pitlochry's landmark mountain. The gorge of Killiecrankie is just a short drive away as are Loch Tummel and Loch Rannoch.

Stunning Lodge With Lovely View

We were kept well informed about our booking, direction in getting there were very clear. Lodge was lovely & cosy when we arrived, had everything that we needed for a wonderful comfortable stay - it even had a dog bed, treats etc for our dog & we were able to keep her contained within the decking & little garden area with stunning views. Would thoroughly recommend and will be back.

Another perfect stay in the Kinnaird Woodland Lodges - Birthday celebration

It was our second stay. The lodge was prepared for birthday celebration, absolutely perfect, super clean, with immaculate attention to details! The kitchen is equipped with every single utensil you can think of, very comfortable beds, The view from the cottage is breathtaking. I can not wait to go back there!

Great lodge in a beautiful area

We have had a great stay at dog friendly Lodge Ben Y Rvackie. Communication from Jamie and Laura was great from when we booked the lodge until when we departed. A very well equipped lodge with beautiful views and an added bonus of a hottub. Ourselves and our dog were made to feel very welcome. Ideal location for Pitlochry and the surrounding area. A big selection of walks from easy, moderate to hard. We will definitely be back.

A lovely lodge, very clean and well equipped. Log burner was a good addition. The Hot Tub was a bonus. The owners were very helpful and always came back to us quickly if we had a question. Lovely quiet site with a good view, will be going back to it at some point in the future.

Excellent Lodge could not have been happier with how clean and well maintained it was. Was great to have access to both the hot tub and BBQ. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful lodge

Such a beautiful lodge in a great location. It was bigger than we expected which was a bonus and decorated very tastefully. The hot tub was great too. Overall ideal for our anniversary trip. Our only issue was the bed. It’s a great size, but very uncomfortable. Easy enough to fall asleep on, but both woke up with aches and pains from the rock solid mattress. With that in mind, I definitely would still recommended staying here to friends and family, but would just warn them to expect an uncomfortable nights sleep.

Outstanding!

Another wonderful stay at Ben Y Vrackie The lodge is tastefully furnished to an exceptionally high standard and we had absolutely everything that we needed. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Laura and Jamie are lovely people. They are so welcoming and friendly and make you feel right at home. As this was our first visit with our four-legged friend, we found that the lodge had so many thoughtful doggy touches - from a beautiful dog bed, water bowl, treat-tin and even a grooming brush in case you have forgotten to pack your own. Even the weather played ball with some beautiful warm and sunny days which were fabulous to enjoy the outdoor hot tub.

Amazing lodge, location and facilities!

We stayed for a weekend (2 nights) and was fantastic. Could have easily stayed longer. Lodge is comfortable, clean, well equipped. Outside space was just perfect for us and our Labrador Cally who simply had the best time. Views are stunning!!! We had some amazing sunsets. We will be back as soon as we can.

A lovely weekend in Pitlochry

We loved our stay at Kinnaird Woodland lodges as did our dog! We stayed in the dog friendly lodge - Ben Y Vrackie. On arrival there were lots of small touches such as a bowl of water left out for our dog, a freshly washed dog bed with some towels and a blanket! Fresh flowers in the living room area as well as in the bedroom and complementary tea/coffee (the good stuff!). Laura and Jamie were very attentive and made sure our stay was extra special and assisted with anything we required pre and post stay. The hot tub was ready to use and supplied with robes and slippers. Overall a great stay, the only reason for marking ‘comfort’ a 4 out of 5 was due to not knowing that the hot water would run out leaving us to reheat the water using the immersion heater which isn’t a complaint but a little upfront knowledge on this would be handy. Overall 5/5 and we’d definitely return.

Cosy cabin equipped with all you need for a short break

We loved our stay at Ben Y Vrackie, it's in a great idilic location a few minutes drive from Pitlochry. Our dog got to roam in the enclosed garden whilst we enjoyed the hot tub. Pitlochry is super dog friendly and ours loved going shopping with us. As we stayed in winter the log burner made it super cosy, idea for relaxing with a drink to celebrate my birthday. Would recommend for a wee winter break, can also imagine it being idea on a summer night.

Excelllent experience

Lovely relaxed atmosphere and a quiet location. We were made very welcome by the hosts. It was perfect being able to relax in the hot tub under the starry October night sky. The wood burning stove was a positive addition especially for those who do not have one at home.

Back to its best

Amazing rejuvenation under the new ownership. Everything has been improved all around and every little detail thought of also. I brought many things I thought would need but they are already there from tea bags, sugar, ice cubes etc Keep it up and can’t wait to come back again.

Relaxing getaway

An excellent location for a trip away

My partner and I booked the lodge for 2 as a birthday trip to explore the area and be able to enjoy the scenery and of course, the hot tub. Jamie and Laura were excellent hosts, the talked us through the hot tub and the attention to detail in the lodge was incredible. After arriving we had requested availability for an extra night due to loving the place so much and they were able to accommodate this. They set up birthday balloons which was a lovely touch! Highly recommend the lodges they were perfect. We bumped into Jamie one morning and asked for suggestions of things to do in the area and he was very helpful with this. The golf course is nearby too. Will definitely be back again
