Currently under renovation and available to book from October 1st. Skirrid Apartment is a 1st floor apartment , situated in the heart of Abergavenny Town Centre. Comprising a double and a twin room with an optional pull out double sofa bed, this is an ideal rental whether you are a couple looking for a romantic getaway, a family looking to save hotel costs or a group of friends looking to bunk together. Our apartment also makes an ideal base if you are moving home or working away from home. There is a dedicated work space, Wi-Fi and a smart TV. We are just a short walk away from all the amenities the town has to offer. We cater for short term and longer term bookings. Please note the photo's are from our sister property, Sugar Loaf Lodge and although largely the same, there may be some minor layout and colour variations.
Monk St Apartments are bright airy, modern apartments with views of St Mary's Priory and gardens. Situated just off the main street of Abergavenny, this property is close enough to access all the amenities, bars and restaurants that Abergavenny has to offer, but without the after hours hustle and bustle of the town centre itself. Less than a 2 minute walk from the nearest car park and bus station and only half a mile from the train station, this apartment is ideal whether you have a car and are planning on exploring the surrounding area or if you are more reliant on public transport.
The building is a 2 minute walk from the Angel hotel and a 5 minute walk to most of the restaurants. The famous Abergavenny food festival usually has stalls right outside.
The properties are accessed via internal flight of stairs and both has one twin and one double bedroom. There is also an optional double sofa bed which would allow 6 people to stay although we would only recommend this for short stays due to the size of the apartment. The sofa bed must be requested if there is a booking for 4 or less adults & a separate charge of 30GBP will be charged. The property has a separate kitchen and living space and one bathroom, all renovated to a high standard. The living room also has a dedicated work space with access to WIFI, for those of you staying for work not pleasure. There is a smart TV with access to all the usual apps such as Netflix etc, although you will need to use your own account.
We are happy to welcome children and as Abergavenny is a haven for walkers, we do consider pets but would like a conversation with pet owners prior to booking and an additional cleaning charge will be levied if accepted.
