The magnificent Villa Fundana,is the perfect retreat!
Situated on a hill with breathtaking views of northern Corfu to the mountains of the greek Mainland
and of southern Albania,is a paradis of total peace,privacy and relaxation.In this oasis of peace and harmony,
far away from the noisy of traffic and discos,you mayfeel as in a small corfiot village,surrounded by gardens
of bougenvillea,hibiscus,plumbago,laurel,almond trees and medieval olive-groves.

The front door of the house opens into a welcoming large living,open plan communal area,with dining table and
fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher.Large glass doors,all with mosquito nets,are opening out onto the
surrounding terraces and to the outside dining area ,accessed directly from the kitchen.
A hallway leads to the three bedrooms.One master bedroom (double bed) en suite bathroom.Another double
bedroom with double bed ,which can be transformed into 2 single beds and a 3rd bedroom with 2 single beds.
There is enough space for 2 extra beds for children.
Three full shower bathrooms-WC.

In the extensive sun terraces you find our swimming pool, sun umbrellas,sun beds and a fully equipped BBQ.

You may visit our 17th c.Venetian Mansion,a historic Monument with remarkable Architecture and our well
preserved olive-Press ,Museum.The old cow-stables are transformed into a A-class Bungalow Hotel.
A path will invite you to a romantic walk,to the nearby ( 1 km ),Monastery of Sant Onoufrios and to the Lake
District , a Biotop with a very rich Fauna and Flora with 24 different species of wild orchids !

A short drive (3,5 km ),will take you to the nearby villages of Dukades and Liapades,with shops,supermarkets and
Tavernas.Our place was selected in 1987 by the BBC as the Strawberry Pink Villa,to shoot the Film < My Family and
other Animals >,by the british naturalist Gerald Durrell.
