Tayvallich a secret corner of Argyll, beautifully located Chalet.
.
Spacious, comfortable private accommodation with a large garden and direct access to fabulous views and the Loch. Peaceful location but within walking distance to the Village Shop and renowned Seafood Restaurant and Bar.
The chalet is extremely comfortable. Could sit on the comfy sofa's in the conservatory all day just admiring the view of the loch and the comings and goings of the boats. Was better than anticipated. Also enjoyed exploring the surrounding area especially the Crinan canal.
We had a very enjoyable stay in the cottage, which is a warm dry and very comfortable house. It was very clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and we were pleased to find the fridge freezer in the utility room. The WiFi was good enough to stream Netflix etc. Excellent showers in the bathrooms. The grass had been cut and so there was easy access to the lochside. The spacious conservatory was a great place to sit and watch the activity in the loch. The parking was really only suitable for one car or 2 small ones.
The house and surroundings are lovely. We enjoyed a restful stay in Tayvallich. The house is very well-appointed and the terrace and conservatory area are both great places to sit and chill out.
A very pleasant holiday house. There's a spacious conservatory, patio and garden at the back with lovely views over the loch. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped and has a dishwasher. (No washing machine or tumble dryer.) There's no traffic noise. We will probably stay there again.
The property was spacious with three bedrooms, ensuite, bathroom and toilet for myself and my two teenagers. The location was very quiet except for the occasional barking dog. The house eas next to the loch and a nature reserve which i enjoyed very much. i had the opportunity to walk round the nature reserve, and I was able to enjoy my kayak in the loch. There were also many walking routes nearby.
Fantastic location on the harbour shore. Clean and tidy with 3 great bedrooms, good facilities and a great conservatory and deck looking over the boats. 5-10 min walk to the village with a good pub and shop and the passenger ferry to Jura. Slight glitch finding location, VRBO location didnât match property. Also be aware no washing machine. Would definitely come again.
Amazing holiday destination, if you are wanting to get away from hustle and bustle of work and town this is an ideal location. Small village store but Tesco are happy to do home delivery if you don't want to venture into a town.
In view of the fact that there is no washing machine, perhaps more coat hangers for extra clothes. Everything else needed was there. Would definitely visit again. The view from the outside decking we sat and watched for hours. Thank you for the binoculars which had a lot of use during our stay x
Absolutely stunning setting, the view of the water from the deck/conservatory are unbeatable. The house has everything you could want, plenty of towels and really comfortable beds, plus a well-equipped kitchen. We absolutely loved sitting on the deck or inside the cosy conservatory (when it was raining) in the evenings and just enjoying the glorious view.
Itâs a little off the beaten track (the address the vrbo provides isnât really correct,) but Chris was great and sent me very detailed instructions to find the place prior to our arrival. Chris was easy to reach and very helpful, when we had an issue with the house we were able to get in touch and sort it out straight away!
Definitely well worth a visit, a slower-paced holiday away with kids, pootling around the water and just enjoying the fresh air and scenery. The restaurant in the village is also great value and delicious!
Lovely property in a fantastic location. We were within walking distance of the pub and the bay overlooking Jura. The kitchen was well equipped and the main bedroom spacious and comfortable. Central heating would make this a perfect house for a break.
If you are looking for a slower paced experience, this is a lovely place to stay. The neighbors are friendly, and the tavern at the end of the road had wonderful food and good service. The village was peaceful and charming. It was easy to get to almost anywhere in Scotland with 3-5 hour drives. The road in to the village is quaint and you need to take your time getting in. Canât wait to come back.
