Le Farm House est niché à l'extérieur de Swansboro, sur une ferme de 100 acres. Les belles plages d'Emerald Isle sont à seulement 15 minutes. Le camp Lejeune est situé à 24 km. Le centre-ville de Swansboro propose de petites boutiques de cadeaux pittoresques, des restaurants et de nombreuses activités nautiques, le tout à moins de 5 minutes en voiture. Le parc d'État de Hammocks Beach propose un service de ferry depuis et vers une plage publique accessible uniquement par ferry. Si vous voulez être aventureux, l'Aquarium de Caroline du Nord est à environ 30 minutes en voiture, situé à Pine Knoll Shores. Parmi les autres sites populaires, voir le fort historique de Macon, faire du shopping sur le front de mer de Morehead City ou traverser le pont pour passer la journée dans le quartier historique de Beaufort et visiter le musée maritime ou prendre un ferry pour le phare de Cape Lookout. Hidden gem

We were looking for a peaceful and a quiet place to spend a few days and found it. The house is clean and well stocked with pretty much anything you can think of. Check in and out was simple and the house is located close to many places of interest

Wonderful, cute little farmhouse!! Close to Hammocks State Park and Emerald Isle.

The farmhouse is so cute and well stocked for a wonderful stay! It is quiet and comfortable, and the owners have furnished and supplied everything you need! We loved sitting on the front porch and watching the chickens in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. Swansboro is a nice little town with lots of good restaurants, and cute shops! We really loved staying at the farmhouse, it was perfect!

Perfect Stay!!

This was such a well thought out home with so many precious decorative touches. The owners were over accommodating with many of the last minute essentials that are needed on vacation (and are often forgotten) provided. It was very obvious they wanted us to truly enjoy our stay. Highly recommend this memorable home!!

We enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The location was close to everything but far enough away for piece quite. We seen deer, rabbits and turkeys. The owners were really nice and made sure we were happy.

Twice is so nice!

This was our second time staying at The Farmhouse and it was even better than the last time! We had better luck with weather and got to chat with both Corky, the owner, and his father, Lynwood. They were so sweet and we loved hearing about some of the history of the area. Everything I said in my past review stayed true and you will love your stay here.

Shortened stay

We enjoyed the farmhouse but ended up only staying 2 nights. It was cute and clean. We would have stayed the full time but the weather forecast kept getting worse instead of better.

Absolutely Adorable!

This adorable tiny farmhouse was amazing!!! It was easy to find and I loved that it was in the middle of a real working farm…no noise though. It had every thing you could possibly need, including ice in the freezer. The beds were very comfortable…and even the sofas. The owners really thought of everything…down to full bottles of shampoo and conditioner in case you forgot. This will be my go to place to stay when I go back to visit again.

Farmhouse Perfection

I so enjoyed my stay at the Farmhouse!! It was absolutely perfect in every way...from the beautiful sunrises complete with the good morning greetings from the roosters to the evening sunset views!! The home is extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need! I will definitely be visiting the farm again and again!!

The Farmhouse

A sentimental journey for my husband to return to his birthplace…The Farmhouse was a perfect place to nestle in! Peaceful surroundings, very comfortable, everything from great coffee to true farmhouse hospitality. We had a wonderful conversation with the owner, watched awesome thunder and lightning storms and enjoyed every amenity that was offered….lots of towels, nice linens, well stocked kitchen. This is a winner!

Home away from Home

Thanks for sharing your cozy farmhouse. Small slice of country paradise. Amazing to just slow down. Watching birds, squirrels, deer, and even a fox while drinking morning coffee on the front porch. To watching a movie and snacking on popcorn in the night. It was joyful and relaxing down at the farm. Hoping to visit again sometime.

Just the oasis we needed!

Enjoying the beach by day and the farm at night. The hosts were amazing! The farm house was beautifully appointed and well stocked. The hosts went out of there way to make us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

Farmhouse by the Beach

Had such a great time at this house for a week away from home. About 15-20 min from the beach, but so worth the drive to get some of the local flavor of NC. Only 5 min from a small downtown area with shops and food. Also took the 1.5 hr drive for a day trip to Willmington which wasn’t bad at all. The house was spacious enough for 4 adults and extremely clean with TONS of amenities! It really felt like home and I will definitely look into returning.

Rural Farmhouse outside/ modern comfort inside

The Farmhouse, set next to a family owned tobacco field, originally belonged to the owner's great grandmother. Corky renovated the property and his wife Audra carefully put on the finishing touches. It is unique, comfortable, lovingly decorated, and utterly charming. It is also close to the sweet town of Swansboro and less than 10 minutes from the beautiful Hammock Beach state park and Bear Island ferry. We were visiting friends and family in Cape Carteret, and it was very convenient to them as well. I would definitely stay at the farmhouse again on our next trip to the area.

A wonderful escape from the crowds

We had a wonderful stay at the farmhouse over July 4th weekend. Everything was so comfortable and inviting — it felt like a home away from home. And the owners provided so many little amenities that I would have never guessed, from the well-stocked kitchen to the bathroom back-up toiletries. They’ve thought of everything. If you’re looking for somewhere cozy and comfy to stay that’s close to the beach (but away from all the traffic and noise), I cannot recommend this place enough!

Family Getaway

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse! It was quaint, cozy, and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners supplied paper towel, toilet paper, towels, linens, and many other extras. It was a short drive to Swansboro and Emerald Isle beach. I would recommend taking the ferry to Bear Island to enjoy Hammock State Beach, it was amazing!

Best Kept secret

We enjoyed our quick trio to Swansboro and the Farmhouse was a perfect space for unwinding.Quiet country setting minutes from Downtown Swansboro. Loved sitting on porch listening to the birds.We would stay here again!

Country Gem

This quaint, very tastefully decorated country cottage in Swansboro was the perfect getaway for a quiet spring break — just 10 mins from Emerald Isle, minutes from the Intracoastal, and with all the amenities of home. A great base to explore the Crystal Coast from, but in a peaceful locale away from the bustle of the beach. Very well-kept, it felt more like a family home than a vacation rental. Highly, highly recommend Captain Darryl/Marsh Cruises for a fun, friendly and unique excursion to Hammocks State Park and surrounding environs (only accessible by boat). Also Riverside Steak and Seafood for a delicious dinner. We hope to come back!

Can't wait to return!

Beautiful and welcoming! This home was roomy, nicely furnished, and stocked in such a way that we felt like we were staying with family. The farm is beautiful - we got to see deer, horses, and turkeys. Beach activities are minutes away - super convenient location! Met Corky and his dad on this trip - super nice gentlemen! Looking forward to staying again!

Relaxing Stay

We really enjoyed our stay in this very adorable home. We were well supplied with anything we might need, even for baking. The road is a little rough getting back to the house, but we just took it slow and it wasn't a major problem. During our stay we enjoyed Emerald Isle beach, visiting the Shackleford Bank horses, movie nights, grilling, and eating out. We would definitely return.

Beautiful, cozy farmhouse!

The farmhouse was the perfect get away and location! I was visiting NC from NY with my daughter to see my son’s MCT graduation in Jacksonville. The house was close to Camp Geiger and also close to downtown Swansboro and Emerald Isle so we were able to stay a few extra days and enjoy the great restaurants, shops and beach! The farmhouse was so peaceful. It is decorated lovely and had everything we needed! This city girl definitely adjusted well to the country life on the farm! I would definitely love to go back!

This quaint little farmhouse is exactly what this family needed! We traveled to N.C. from Illinois to visit with our Marine son on his birthday. We were looking for something to just chill and reconnect in and this wonderful farmhouse was the perfect place. The house was decorated so cute and comfortable, it felt like home. We had everything that we could want and then some. We sat on the front porch, enjoyed the peace and quiet and made memories to last a lifetime. Charming and peaceful farmhouse

We enjoyed our stay very much. It has everything you could possibly need and so very peaceful. Loved Sitting on the porch having our coffee in the morning. It reminded me of when I was younger staying at my grandparents house on the farm and loved that it was close to everything. Will definitely be returning.

Beautiful well equipped and comfortable

The house had everything we could have asked for. Our host sad super friendly and Accommodating. Everything was provided from comfortable beds and linens down too the smallest detail. It sad also well stocked with anything you might need including toiletries and cookware and necessities inn the kitchen like cooking oil, honey and even popcorn. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and conveniently located just off emerald isle so it was easy to get to but not crowded with tourists. Will stay again!
