Situated in 1 1/2 acres, with a large private heated pool, Le Manoir aux Volets Verts is an idyllic retreat nestling in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Sit out in the south facing garden to enjoy fantastic views, or in the hot tub watching the sunsets, while the kids play in the pool, the games room or cool down in the Den. Everybody has the space to enjoy themselves.
Step through the double front doors into a traditional Maison d'Maitre furnished with traditional style but a modern touch. Full fibre Wi-Fi, north facing bedrooms and modern fully equipped kitchen makes LMVV the perfect family and friend’s holiday.
The ground floor has an elegant dining room that seats 8, for an adult only French style banquet. An eighteenth century chandelier a dresser full of Denby china awaits.
The kitchen dinner table will seat the full complement of 10 with cupboards full of the latest kitchenware including food processors, a sausage maker and a deep fat fryer for those frites. The kitchen itself has a dishwasher, washing machine and 5 gas hobs with a double oven. The large fridge freezer is big enough to keep the all-important rose cool.
The Den is a spacious family room to watch local TV, Netflix or use the PS4.
Move upstairs where the large hall and Juliet balcony welcome you. The Fourposter is a large spacious room with, yes, a fourposter bed! The shower room is equipped with twin basin and plenty of storage space.
The William Morris is bedecked with furnishing from this famous fashion house. Either twin beds or a zip and link double. Ideal for couples or elder children.
The Dorm sleeps up to 4 kids and is inspired by the Amazon rain forest. A large triple wardroom and plenty of room to sleep with black out curtains and a shuttered window.
Up to the third level and the huge Pyrenees, room is a large double bedroom with two relaxing chairs. Off the main room is a dressing room and then an en-suite shower. The Velux window is ideal for stargazing on a clear night.
Outside the 12x6m pool is heated and cleaned daily by our friendly robot, Flipper. We provide loungers, tables and chairs along with swimming towels and a warm pre dip shower. Sit and enjoy al Fresco dinning at the 10 seat table, while listening to your favorite music on our Bluetooth lantern/speaker. Cooking can be both inside and out. Try our large gas BBQ or Ooni 12 pizza oven. Fancy a shady area? Fall asleep in our hammock or just gentle swing under the large oak tree. After dinner relax at the view to watch the sun, go down.
There is plenty for the kids to do with badminton, ping-pong, rugby balls and goals to practice being the next Harry Kane.
The house comes with four high-end bikes, 2 for the road and 2 for the forest. We also have three children’s bikes. Four tennis rackets can be used at the free to use village court about 5 minutes away.
For those who want to keep fit we have a running machine, small multi gym and some free weights.

3 villages with shops, restaurants and supermarkets are all about 15 minutes away.
We accept pets at €50 a stay. The gite is owned and run by Simon and Rachel Burnell.
