A beautiful Welsh stone cottage that is bursting with character features to include original old shipping beams, thick stone walls and a log burning fire. Our cottage is central to Dolgellau town centre where you will find a wealth of shops, coffee bars and restaurantâs. Dolgellau is situated within the Snowdonia National Park which is an ideal base for those wanting to enjoy the outdoors environment and experiences of North Wales. There is a choice of beautiful beaches within a 15 minute drive of Dolgellau. There are numerous walks which can be picked up from Dolgellau without the need for driving. Ivy Court has been refurbished to a high standard providing quality accommodation which is well furnished and equipped with everything that you'll need to feel at home. The bathroom was completely refurbished during 2017 and provides you with a luxury hotel experience. The kitchen was remodeled and newly fitted in 2019.
Me and my husband had a wonderful stay in this cottage. Itâs in a nice small town with a few pubs, restaurants and supermarket. We came to rest and see the beautiful national parc Snowdonia.
This is a fantastic cottage, well equipped and the little extras count.Milk and bara brith perfect. Very comfortable bed. Really good shower. The little town is well stocked with shops and restaurants. A little hiccup with check in. Wrong safe box key number given. Luckily soon had conract with host to rectify.. did not spoil our weekend.
We have visited the cottage previously so was as lovely as we remembered before To arrive from a long cold journey to a warm cosy cottage was so much appreciated . Communication with Carol was great . We would highly recommend a stay in this lovely place.
We had three perfect days in Ivy Court. It is perfect equipped, very comfortable beds and absolute stylish furnished.
In 5 minutes you can walk anywhere in the village.
The property is amazing , furnished well and tastefully like a luxurious hotel ( imho ) a super kingsize bed which was so comfortable and everything you could need for a few days stay ( or longer ) owner popped in to see us and gave us a few tips of where to go ( much appreciated) we would definitely đŻ recommend this accommodation đđlovely
The property is centrally located in the town, close to pubs and shops. Downstairs living space and kitchen felt snug and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bedroom and bathroom upstairs felt big and airy. It was super quiet and relaxing. Would stay again.
Beautiful , cosy old cottage very close to lovely town centre but very quiet & peaceful.Everything outstandingly clean & fresh.Tastefully decorated. Bed very comfy.
Hope to return next year.
We have stayed here several times and whilst the property has changed ownership the experience was just as good if not better as we were greeted with a bottle of fizz and a selection of teas and coffees.
There were also some leaflets on walks from the door which we enjoyed doing.
We will definitely be back.
We have stayed in the property a few times before but Carol added some lovely extras. The chocolates and Prosecco were a real treat. Also nice to have toiletries provided.
Lovely cottage, thoughtfully and tastefully furnished to a high standard. Great location in the centre of the town and accessible to the local restaurants and shops. Perfect cottage to return to after long days walking in the hills as part of our preparation for a trek in Nepal to relax and recover
