This is a wonderful property. The listing does not do justice to the beautiful sea view, and how pretty and well equipped Lindos is with its narrow streets and whitewashed buildings bustling with quaint shops and trendy bars and excellent restaurants (most of which offer roof top dining with views of the Acropolis).
The villa is fully air conditioned and very spacious. The outdoor space is extensive with beautiful grounds and the pool is accessed via a manicured lawned promenade. Outdoor eating space is perfect and there is a large external brick built BBQ, along with a pool table on the patio. The swimming pool was a good size, but quite shallow at one end - great for young kids and games, but not great if you want to swim lengths (although my daughters - both above average height in their 20s) did their 100 lengths a day!
The upstairs bedrooms share a large balcony from where the sea view of Navarone Bay can be enjoyed.
The villa was well looked after and the host instantly responded to any queries we had. Cleaning, gardening and pool maintenance were frequent but not intrusive.
Highlights in the area included St. Paul's Bay as well as everything in Lindos. You can walk to the pebble beach at Navarone Bay (signed for Aquagrand), and also to the Chapel of Prophet Elias, which sits on a promontory giving you sea views of the south side of the island (Lardos Bay?) - it looks a very daunting walk due to the hill, but it took about half an hour.
Highly recommended!
