The Neighborhood:
It is conveniently placed nearby the hot spots of the area and provides visitors with a range of options for sea swimming, nighttime entertainment, dining, and shopping, as it is in 7 mins walking distance from Platis Gialos center, its long sandy beach, and some of the best restaurants in Sifnos.

Platis Gialos is about 10 minutes by car from Kamares, which is where ferries arrive in Sifnos. Renting a car is highly recommended.

Getting Around:
Although bus service is available between all major parts of the island, renting a car is highly recommended for flexibility and convenience. We can assist with the rental process through local contacts. Taxi service is also available on the island.

Other Things to Note:
For the fans of hiking, Sifnos offers a unique set of trails that range from kids-friendly 45' hikes to 15km+ ones for advanced hikers. All trails have been waymarked by the local community. Search for "Sifnos Trails."
